I don't blame harden. its all mchale fault. as a coach y suppose to know how to play your players to their full potential. it seem to me that all mchale knows is to bench players except for harden

Plus I am convinced McHale gets his rotations from a random number generator.

Harden had no help tonight. No one else could score.

Agreed. Playing one guy this much night in and night out isn't going to accomplish anything. Being tired can't create a lot of messy plays. Look at the Lakers now.....

i've seen lin to know that he is inconsistent but has the makings to become a really nice point guard by the time he is 26 and harden is a superstar. But what do superstars do? they pick their spots since it's easy to them. No need to stall your entire offense like that.

Crap, the fuhrer Rick can insert a 4 guard line up and have all of them cut, screen, roll/play in the flow of the offense. But Mctalky can't get double penetration to fully erect?

When Lin is not thinking, He plays well and sometimes dominates. I see it all the time, If McFail just tells him, Lin just go, he is going to play better.

Haha true. Most of Lin's demons are of his own making though. I was watching Scrubs last night and there is an episode where the main chracter is getting his evaluation done by his mentor. His mentor tells him he makes him furious because he always cares too much about what other people think. That is Lin right now. He is always playing scared. He has to man up andtake responsibility. Hopefully he will learn from this experience. Otherwise I'm afraid he wont have a long career.

Him and mchale are buddies. He's nervous because at this point it looks like he will need to fire Mchale.
Not sure what mchale was doing tonight. He's flailing with lineups that make no sense. Team is quitting on him.

So I'm looking at play by play and it seems the game was out of reach and the lead ballooned even more in the fourth, but McHale keeps Harden in there? Oh, that sounds familiar...

Exactly, but I feel that Mchale thinks like the guy you responded to though - that we can't get our baskets without Harden. Did Mchale not see without Harden the team almost beat the Spurs and went to an OT battle with them. You play Harden for about 40 mins and the dude turns it over from lazy passes, drive to the basket and even gets the ball stolen many times.

Mchale needs to put the ball in Lin's hand and make him the 2nd option and give Harden some rest - it's not like we are winning anyways by running Harden to the ground. I'm sure Lin can get the job done if he is utilized properly.

Remove the coaching staff from the game and let the players coach themselves. The results would be better. It seems the players know more about what is going on the court than the coaching staff.

Yeah....Lin, at times, is playing like he doesn't belong. How this team is playing players isn't going to nuture and develop players....do good and you get benched...do bad and you get benched...what gives?

What's is your point of defending a guy that gets 5.6.7 TO a night.

I used to think that way too but the last two games Lin had his shots blocked so many times that I even felt sorry for him.

It's not just confidence. The league has figure out Lin's game.

and then down by 16 at the end of the 3rd.

from the beginning of the 3rd until 5:56 left we were essentially neck and neck 59-57 rockets down by two Delfino had just fouled Gallinari. He makes his 2 FT's now 60-57 still very close

5:56 Danilo Gallinari makes free throw 1 of 2 60-57
5:56 Danilo Gallinari makes free throw 2 of 2 61-57
5:20 Ty Lawson misses layup 61-57
5:20 JaVale McGee makes two point shot 63-57
5:20 JaVale McGee offensive rebound 61-57
4:54 Jeremy Lin makes 13-foot two point shot 63-59
4:47 JaVale McGee makes two point shot (Ty Lawson assists) 65-59
4:35 James Harden bad pass (Wilson Chandler steals) 65-59
4:24 Danilo Gallinari makes 23-foot three point jumper (Ty Lawson assists) 68-59
    4:24 Rockets 20 Sec. timeout
4:13 Carlos Delfino misses 24-foot three point jumper 68-59
4:11 Andre Iguodala defensive rebound 68-59
4:07 Ty Lawson makes layup (Andre Iguodala assists) 70-59
3:53 JaVale McGee blocks Jeremy Lin 's 2-foot shot 70-59
3:50 Danilo Gallinari defensive rebound 70-59
    3:41 Wilson Chandler makes 11-foot jumper 72-59
    3:27 James Harden makes 9-foot jumper 72-61
3:27 JaVale McGee shooting foul (James Harden draws the foul) 72-61
3:27 Patrick Beverley enters the game for Jeremy Lin 72-61

Now we are 11 points behind... yep JLin should get blamed and benched for that string.:confused::eek::(
