Kobe has done it 13 times, Monta Ellis has done it 9 times, OJ Mayo 9 times. Yes Harden has done it the most (16), but he isn't the only one.

His numbers, aside from ppg and I think assists, are down. TOs waaay up. Asked to do too much instead of focusing on scoring. Decent playmaker, but it should come in the flow of his game, not forced like it is now

    Mchale doesn't understand.
    Harden is not a PG.

You guys did hear when Dennis Scott said they had a player's meeting when he was in Orlando right? Penny, Shaq, Scott, Anderson, all got into a player's meeting, discussed who was responsible for what, and then got Brian Hill fired and went to the Finals. I wonder, if there was a tweet where Parsons was saying that they had a player's only meeting...hmmmmm...

There was only 1 turnover in that time period, yes it must have been that

Note that Harden's stats were absolutely friggin awesome during the post-San Antonio game stretch when Lin was getting screens and allowed to distribute the ball. Once McHale inexplicably stop letting Lin play PG, Harden's stats went way down in virtually every category.

    Hornets are going to win.

I don't see the Rockets having a good half of the season.

Only if they get back to playing at the break neck pace they did earlier. They only have a chance if they do that. Because you don't really need a complex system to have a fast break offense, you just need great fast break players (which we have).

But I'm not sure the players are capable of playing that style consistently.

FG%, down 3pt FG% down, eFG% down, TS% down, Ortg down, PER about the same, his assist are up but so are his turnovers.

Rockets don't have anyone close to a Shaq or Penny....but McFail needs to get out of there. They are probably as puzzled as the fans are...what the heck is McFail up too? I know Harden is an 80 million dollar man....but give the guy some rest and faith in the other players. More rest for your marquee player will only make things better.

How about bringing in ex Rockets to coach the team: Mario Elie or Sam Cassell?

Whenever the measuring stick is other chucking shooting guards... guys like Ellis, Bryant, and Mayo you're in it pretty bad.

    How long has Kobe played?

Anyways, when your primary playmaker has this many turnovers night in night out, shouldnt the alarm bells start going off? It's like the Rockets' ship is sinking right before my eyes, but no one inside knows it.

Morey and company fired a hof level coach and got a guy who has practically no experience coaching. It was a recipe for disaster and we are seeing the disaster unfold now.

Can't believe Rockets have held onto the 8th seed this long. Blazers really don't want it either.

    Couple of observations:

    1. Why is Harden in the game with 2 minutes to go when its clear they can't catch up? Do we want him to get injured? Have heavy legs next game?

    2. Somebody should do an analysis of how many of the Rockets turnovers are as a result of dumb bounce passes to Asik. It must be a crazy high percentage. Are they ever going to learn that he can't catch those. I'm not holding my breath.

Oh you're right, he is the only one to turnover the ball 5+ times. How stupid of me

I agree. Completely. I think balance is the key or something close to it. Harden, as great as he is, is not lebron. No one is. His focus should be on scoring, preferably after he is put in the easiest position possible. We have already gone through this **** before, with a brilliant wing scorer dominating the ball ( Tracy was the better playmaker IMO ). It wasn't successful and it rarely ever is. And we had a ****ing beast of a center then too.

The sooner Mchale and Morey realize Harden isn't good enough to carry a team.. the better the team will be.
