Hardens numbers are down in every major shooting metric and advanced offensive stat from last year... he's obviously being given a workload he can't handle.

I am scratching my head to as why Harden played for so long when the game was out of reach.

i aint a rookie bro, ive been member since 06 my old account got banned for some reason. And this has Nothing to do for money, if you go to work for something you love you dont go work for the money you work because you love it. these players checks arent their motivation. infact these rookie scale contracts are worthless half of it goes to the agent they make nothing chandler makes 800,000 of that 20,000-40,000 goes to his agent. i mean these guys arent making money bro they are playing for the love of the game

You know, instead of complaining, why not start the discussion? I like Asik a lot, but he's got to stay alert on offense. He was doing so much better catching passes under the basket earlier this season. Maybe he's tired. He looks slower. It seemed like he used to get a lot more FTs. Also, it seems like he's being forced to come out to defend the PnRs and no one's left to protect the paint. Our PFs are terrible in that respect.

TBH, I can't tell the difference between Morris and PP most nights. If they're not hitting 3s, they're complete nonfactors. If someone like PatBev can get big minutes, I don't see why we can't see our rookie bigs.

Parsons is having a rough stretch. He's not finishing the way he was earlier this season and he's making a lot of weak passes. He just looks a step slow on everything right now.

We have such a young team, and at the pace they were running, it really does seem like they're hitting a wall. I really think, at this point, McHale needs to define roles and minutes a bit better. I don't want to see Parsons and Delfino handling the ball so much. And overall, the offense is way too predictable. The offense is too reliant on guard penetration to get points in the paint. It would be nice to see some movement without the ball, and if Asik has any kind of post game, let's see it.

Harden gets most of those TOs while trying to play PG. That's the inherent problem. Most other SGs aren't out there trying to be Rondo at the same time. We have a capable PG in Lin that is not being utilized and it's making everyone's play suffer.

Harden's most efficient, low TO games came in games where Lin was running the more point heavily.

You're right, that turnover lost the game for us. Harden sucks.

Actually they do run him on baseline screens a lot during the game. It's only for him to get the ball and ISO though. They do use screens to get him the ball...and he runs to get it, but they then just go right into ISO mode once he gets it.

The thing is, we could blame Harden if he were the only one doing this...but when Parsons and Lin get the ball they do the exact same thing. It's the offense, it's because it's what the coaches are telling them to do so they all get the ball somewhere on the perimeter and try to drive into the paint and create for a three or finish at the rim. The difference is they just ask Harden to do it more because he's the best at doing that, and it would be fine if they didn't try to do it so many times during a game.

That's pretty much the entire offense outside of randomly posting up Asik or Smith.

Pretty much this offense would be perfect if we Had Lebron. He's the one guy who can do that over and over and over again and not really show signs of tiring out.

Yeah that's the only thing I could think of. To get his points.

Nah, it wasn't winnable, not with the McHale's halftime adjustment back to McHale-Harden r****dball(tm).

Once McHale made the adjustment to play the McHale-Harden r****dball(tm) at halftime, it didn't matter if it was Lin or Beverley or Uglas at point or Rose or CP friggin 3, the game wasn't winnable.

those 11 points were caused by Harden's turnovers and crap team defense. Lin was the least problem.

To be fair, no one moves without the ball. I'm thinking this is by design.

Hornets played a close game today against the Spurs. They'll be hungry against the Rox on Friday.
