This team is looking more and more out of kilter. Not just tired, with streaks of cold shooting, but fundamentally confused. No clear plan of attack, other than Harden ISO which isn't enough. I'm going to keep watching the games but it is starting to become more like a horror movie than fun basketball.
QUIT MOPING. This team is brand new and if we make the playoffs that should be considered a successful year. Anything better than an 8th seed is 100% more than ANYBODY should be expecting. Watching games is difficult, it makes my heart drop and my face cringe, but my expectations are unreal. I'm going to watch Rockets games like how I've been watching my Raptors for God knows how long. With a focus on player development and growth of team cohesion. I love this team and I love that our players love eachother. Losing is part of the process, but I have no doubt Houston will win a championship within the next 6 years and I'm looking forward to that day.
Player development? Right, the once promising D-Mo wants no part of the bench and wants to go back to D-League just to get some play time. Team cohesion? I know something cohesive--whoever helps the team to win sticks to the bench. Helloooo TD!
I hope we lose big because it seems our wins before that was pure luck: Harden was in beast mode and everybody hit shots. System is broken so until they fix it, we should lose. There's no reason to win games we shouldn't, it's time for change!
Op, can you add an option "Until McHale is fired". Serious, Rockets go from a fun team to watch to painful to watch. No offense, no defense. wtf is going on?
The thing is, unless the streak continues for long enough, Mchale is not going aywhere. Last time when we played Charlotte I was torn. I almost hoped for the team to lose so that this coach thing that everyone is talking about can end.
This. Sucky team is suck. Lets trade all of our players for 5 bags of chips. They'd help the team more down the road by getting us a high pick.
Are you forgetting the starting lineup is all pretty much 23 years old with the average NBA experience of around 1 season each? Nvm it's too late for them to develop and find chemistry. BLOW IT ALL UP MURRAY.
It looks like there will be a little break in the schedule to practice before the GSW game. That might help. And the 'Cats is the game before, so I see that part as an opportunity. Still, I think the next 4 are losses. I hope they prove me wrong.
We'll probably lose until we play New Orleans and then we will start a new losing streak. Unless we get a new coach....
