Enough is enough it is time to let McHale go back to NBAtv. This team deserves a better coach. Sloan would be nice but would he want the gig?
One thing for sure, McHale is not a coach who can stand up for Rocket's players. I have seen the players back him up after he lost his daughter last year. But, I haven't seen once when the coach has ever tried to defend his players among the bad referee calls.
Our defense isn't any good obviously, but our offense is seriously anemic. It might be time to start Delfino and slide Parsons to the 4. He can't be much worse than Patterson and Morris there defensively.
when McHale leaves, Morey will leave cause Morey will not get a chance at a 4th coach JVG Adelman McHale all Morey hires so this will be his time to go as well
When will management finally realize McFail is NOT the answer? Not even close. I'm so sick of this shiit. Nothing has changed from last year.
Not sure why ppl and the organization are okay with having a terrible coach. We want to have two superstars yet we're fine with being coached by a guy who's never made the playoffs as a coach? Even if you were generous and labeled him as an okay coach, why is that acceptable? We should want a great or at least a good coach leading the team the same way we want superstars. Sloan, JVG and SVG are unemployed and good coaches.
Is there anyone deranged and idiotic enough to still not want this man fired? Unbelievable, it's almost like he's doing everything in his power to get fired and Morey's not taking the hint. It's just sad that this group of talented young players will have wasted this whole year on clueless, bullsh-t coaching when a real, competent coach could've done wonders for their development.
JVG can't coach offense at all, we need Jerry Sloan. I am confident that with Sloan on this team right now this season we would win at least 45 games.
Today the team played terrible D once again. Jlin was pulled out again to prove that the team can play better without him. Unfortunately, for McFail it didn't work. Trying to use Jlin as scapegoat is sooooooo uncool!!! I couldn't believe a coach would try to pull that crap!!!!!!!*OMG* What a terrrible coach seriously!!! Wow!!!! Your entire system is broken!!!!
The coaches have really tied the players up into their system rather than enforcing the fundamentals first. When the system begins to look like a failure, the coaches are completely lost.
We need a coach who holds his star player accountable - just like he would with the 12th man - ala Popovich with Duncan/Parker/Ginobili. Someone needs to harp on Harden about his defense. Whenever Harden (to be fair I've seen Delfino do it a couple of times also) is the last person back when the other team runs a fast break - it ends up as an easy lay up as Harden rarely plays proper defense. Start with the head of the snake and the rest will follow. We need a coach who isn't afraid to show Harden he is only a cog in this machine - not the machine itself.
Dude doesn't know how to coach or sub. Goes away from what works. Everyone's a point guard in this team. The system is garbage. And he let Harden stat pad risking injury. Idiot.
