Switch Parsons with Lin to open up some cap space over the summer (Harden/Smith/Dwight is a contender). If needed send Linnto a third team or wherever really.
parsons can go, we can keep delfino till offseason and easily replace him. Move marcus to SF so he can shoot outside jumpers all game since thats all he does now
I would do that deal in a heartbeat. Parsons is a great asset but if you can get D12 you do it. Harden + D12 + whatever solid players Morey could find = Contender Status
Parsons and Asik for Dwight, Lin and Patterson for granger. Dwight/smith/Cole Morris/dmo/jones Granger/delfino Harden/delfino Beverly/Douglas
I'd pull the trigger in a heartbeat, mourn the loss of Parsons and his contract for a few moments, then start celebrating. I doubt even Morey's biggest critics would question his ability to quickly reload with quality role players.
After seeing what Lin has been able to do next to Harden, no doubt the Lakers are chomping at the bit to pair him with Kobe.
Lin, Asik and Patterson for Howard, Sacre. I'm in! P.G. - Beverley / Douglas S.G. - Harden / Delfino S.F. - Parsons / Morris P.F. - Jones / Motiejunas / Sacre ...C. - Howard / Smith Roll with it!
Howard for Omer Asik, Chandler Parsons, Terrence Jones, Carlos Delfino and expirings. Done, where do I sign? And I'm saying this even though Omer is my favorite Rocket on the team. As much as you like someone, you can't get attached as a fan. Players like Dwight are a rare NBA commodity. Players like Omer, Parsons, Jones, and Delfino are not so much. Well, I would Omer is a rare player physically and defensively, but Dwight fills that hole nicely and could be a pure beast with our PnR guards.
Lin + Asik for Howard is a win for the Rockets and Lakers. Lakers get rid of a headcase in Howard and get a rebounder in Asik and playmaker in Lin. God, I hope this trades happen.
As much as I hate Dwight Howard, I would be ecstatic if he does come to Houston. Howard + Harden = championship contending team
I love Chandler but it's not as if we'd be banishing him to Siberia, he would get to go to LA in the prime of his life That being said, how picky can the Lakers be? what other teams can offer the kind of cap relief they need?
