The official James Harden is not a legitimate #1 option thread

What a r****ded post and Kobe can confirm this himself, he doesn't get to the line as often because he doesn't drive as often. As you get older you don't play as physical because your body can't take as much wear and tear. Harden is young and attacks relentlessly.

Like Kobe after age 30 with Gasol/Bynum et al to play with is the proper parallel to Harden at age 23. I'd rather slap myself in the face with a stupid stick.

His FTA per 36 didn't decline substantially till he was over 30.

another member in this thread kcal has been using his stats to put forth the argument that Lin is more efficient than Harden its only because Harden gets to shoot twice as much.


Comparing Kobe and Harden at this point in their careers is just flawed logic wise. There is no way around that. Just let it go Sam.

I used to be a big tmac fan and during his first two years here...the guy was good. He would get calls too, but he would rarely attack. Its when you relentlessly attack the basketball you are due a certian # of calls. That is what I like about Harden more than anything, which ironically what LOF seems to be finding fault in.

 

These arguments sound like the time that dude KillBillPana tried to make the case the Spanoulis was better than Mcgrady and was an all star...that the rockets ****ed him over. This time its like 1000x KillBillPanas

 

Torocan is an admitted Lin fan who uses tons of stats to back up his arguments as to why
- Lin isn't being properly utilized.
- Linsanity wasn't a fluke
- Mchale is a big part of the problem with Lin
Blah blah.

He's actually a pretty level headed poster but a Lin fan above all else. All his analysis is geared at making Jeremy look good and explaining his shortcomings. Torocan doesn't play the race card.
The problem with Torocan is that these droves of Lin apologists use his stats to back up their "Mcfail hates Jeremy" or "Trade Lin to the Lakers" BS.

 

hey idiots..... Lin is not playing well and either is Harden, Or Asik or anyone else on this team. Beverly is what he is, new and because hes new you people think hes the answer. Hes not. The problem with the Rockets is they aren't shooting well, NO ONE IS......But when they were shooting well they didnt play any d. And they dont have a big guy that can even catch the ball. This is whats wrong with the Rockets, Its not Lin, its not Harden its all of them....ALL OF THEM>......go find something more constructive to do

Harden has an exceptionally low basketball IQ. He's just a rich man's Kyle Lowry. The Thunder knew what they were doing.

 

This seems like a revenge thread for all of the jeremy lin hate threads.

 

I said this before...the thing that scares me about Harden is, that when the fouls aren't being called he's only going to average 12-15 points.

That's why there's a stigma on him regarding the finals last year.

Everyone knows the playoffs. Ticky tacky, head snap backs (Harden does this a lot for some reason) fouls, don't get called.

If Harden sucks, so do the rockets. Haven't seen anyone step up when Harden is down.
