I take it as a bad sign if he's getting benched to be taught lessons while in the D-League. But I guess better there than here.

Every time I watch TJ he seems amazing. But I guess his attitude off the court, at practice, and the games I don't watch must be piss poor. It makes me sad to see because of all the talent he has.

Hahaha. This is a 2 point game with a minute left and even the Viper girls look bored.

RGV all the way! Looks like the effort some of these guys show, trumps the effort some of our Rockets have been showing :-(

I think I'm in love. This was my first d league game. I had fun watching all of these young guys play - but I found everything else even more entertaining. I love the announcers - the one guy is constantly struggling to get a word in, while the one who doesn't shut up is constantly struggling to get words out. The Viper girls looked distracted and bored in the final minutes of a close game. And then, after the Vipers win on a fantastic circus shot by Goudelock, they're bumping chests and high-fiving each other in celebration while some little fat kid in Vipers gear, presumably a ball boy, struts around on the court like he hit the game winner himself.

    SO GOOD!

LOL. It definitely has a high school/college feel. I like it though. Every time I see someone with the Vipers, I ask where I can get some RGV gear. I want a shirt, at a minimum. Jersey even better.

Story of the game for a Rocket fan though has to be Jones only playing 12 minutes. Yikes.

Yeah. I'd be interested in knowing what happened there. I watched the video you posted of some of his Viper highlights and it looks like he has been playing well. But he did appear to be coasting some against lesser opposition. Maybe that's the problem.

Let me know if you need a T-Shirt Clutch. I live down here in RGV and I sometimes go to the games plus there is a Vipers/Rockets shop down here. Also, I am the guy that got you to sign my poster at the Rockets open practice this past October.

Will watch after work. I really like Goudelock, great to hear he hit a game winner. It shouldn't be too long before he's snatched up in my opinion, if only we had room.

Definitely remember that! And I appreciate the offer to pick up the shirt ... very nice of you. I should be OK since I hope to get out there for a game eventually, and I'll let you know when I do so we can meet up.

(BTW, where do you go to get Vipers gear? I think I was told there is a Vipers store there?)

Jones was benched because of his play. No injury. He showed very little effort. Passed the ball constantly. His defender Darius Rice was schooling him most of the game on both sides of the ball and TJ stopped playing hard after that it looked like. The coach was looking for a rotation that would play hard. They were down big so TJ just didn't cut it tonight.

It looked like TJones was just given the night off at halftime. He was sitting at the end of the bench in his warmups the second half. I'd have to re-watch the first half to see if TJones he was really slacking. He was involved in the action in the first half and I didn't really notice him not giving effort, but I could be wrong.

More than likely at the arena wherever they play their home games. I know that is the way the Toros do it here in Austin.

In regards to Terrence, the one game I saw live against Toros he struggled with stamina and seemed to lose focus and get disengaged when he was not the offensive focal point.

There was a marked difference in body language when he was engaged and when he was dogging it. May have motor issues.

I believe he only played 12 min because of a minor procedure to be done on his toe while he is called up here.

I think so. He is really slow on the court every time I watch him.

Not to mention the fact when I see him running down court he has this going on.
