    My dads works for the sheriff's department in Harris County and just gave me the heads up that there's been a shooting at the North Harris campus of Lone Star :( They/He knows of 3 casualties so far. Heads up for anyone around the area or campus.

    My cousin is there as well. Just told me he went out into the hallway and saw people running in chaos. Tried to go to his car to retrieve his piece but was ordered by staff campus to get back into the classroom and the rooms were locked from the outside...

    It used to be North Harris Montgomery County College or NHMCC for short, and then they added Cy-Fair College and a few others to their campuses... campi... campu... ergh, ummm... schools. :eek:

    I was just thinking in my head about a scenario where i arm myself for protection. I was shot by an officer in this scenario. Can't trust these officers are well enough trained. Spray and pray, kill anything that moves mentality.

    Used to be N. Harris Community College. I went there and Montgomery CC for a couple of semesters while cleaning up the mess I created with my freshman year at UTSA.

    Just heard my mom and brother were in the same building as the shooting. Thank The Lord they were ok. This is way too close to home.
