Missing the playoffs for sure. That would be the biggest failure in league history.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, the season is only 5 games in and they are 2-3, they have plenty of time to turn it around.

Man let go of the Laker propaganda. They never wanted Phil. Jim Buss wasn't about to have it, and he axed anything that had any semblance to do with him or the triangle, playbooks, assistant coaches...everything except that high chair.

Danotni has never been flexible. Matter of factly, Knicks fans told everyone what would happen when he came. They should've never pulled a fast one on Mike Brown like they did.

and funny you say who Kobe respects. That list is minimal.. he's had it out with just about everybody important, and even threw many of them under the bus. He wont stop because his rabid fans will never blame him no matter what. There is always a scapegoat somewhere, and now that Lamar is gone, and Pau has been fried like chicken, Dantoni is next on the block along with him slowly putting Dwight in the pan too. The guy is a piece of work.

upcoming Lakers schedule (they are 17-24):

    Wed, Jan 23 @ Memphis
    Fri, Jan 25 vs Utah
Sun, Jan 27 vs Oklahoma City
Tue, Jan 29 vs New Orleans
    Wed, Jan 30 @ Phoenix

and then 6 more consecutive road games to start February as part of their "Grammy Trip". this is when they would find each other and so called bond on the road. they have the potential to be somewhere at 8-10 games below .500 before that road trip begins and it will be too late.

They never should have hired Mike Brown.

The only guy that fits their personnel with a history of keeping superstars happy on offense and getting vets to get the job done on defense is JVG.

Right now I see 0 HoF worthy players in the floor. That's the truth.

I don't blame Kobe, there's just something wrong about this team. Back in the day, even players like Vujacic played his heart out, not to mention Jordan Farmar and Shannon Brown. This team does not have any chemistry, and more importantly heart.

No heart. No desire to win. No Laker badass-ery I'm used to seeing. Just some pathetic pieces going through the motions.

This was planned. NBATV is showing the game, Kobe is watching it for the "first time" and tweeting about it.

a player scoring 81 should be looked upon as a shame not an achievement in my book :)

So, they are starting ANOTHER season? I guess they weren't happy with their 2-3 season.
