If Kobe gave half of his shots to Nash - I wonder what the Lakers' offense would look like.

If I had to bet - I'd say Howard leaves this LA team.

5 shot attempts? That is pathetic.

Kobe isn't retiring this year. He has a couple of years left in him.
Is Dwight really going to endure this for a couple more seasons?

If Lakers really want to win they should trade Pau to Miami for Bosh. Benefits both teams. And then trade Kobe for Joe Johnson( I doubt Nets will do that trade). Lakers have parted with a superstar before, I dont see why not do it now? Kobe isn't the future so might as well do whatever it takes to keep Howard.

Forget it. Miami won't make that trade. If they were 17-24 like the Lakers instead of 26-12, maybe so.

This is the kind of one-sided deal the Lakers need.

You knew Kobe's FG would plummet since he got off to such an unrealistic start. This guy is the model of chucking consistency. 43% here we come!!!

Dwight Howard looks lost out there. Weak attempt on defense, weak attempts at rebounds, he just Looks weak all around. Looks like he's giving up out there. Horrible bench. I'm still wondering why Chris duhon is still in the league.

Do you think they would consider it if they continue to struggle on the boards like they have been?

    Steve Kerr is not impressed.

So disappointing to watch the Lakers right now. They sucked the life out of me, and I'm just an analyst. Gasol isn't that much better at rebounding, and has far more problems compared to Bosh, and that's not even discussing age or chemistry. Miami at the end of the day is still one of the best teams in the league. Bosh for Gasol is a zero chance. Period.

Kerr was kissing LAs butt tonight for some reason.

I bet there is more fan interest in the league now that you don't see refs raping teams in favor of a large market.

They made this bed and are always trying to elude the draft while everyone else has to build through both drafts and trades...welcome to the rest of the NBA

No need to feel sorry for them

Bosh fits Miami perfectly because he is one if the best mid-range shooters in the league and he's quick/agile enough for their defensive scheme. Gasol at be a better player but he isn't a better fit for them.

Do you really think that record will get the 8th seed? Until last season, it had been years since a 41-41 record grabbed the 8th seed (the 1998-99 season). Was last season a trend, or an anomaly? Also, do you think the Lakers can actually come together enough as a team to go 24-18 from now on? They should be able to. Heck, they should have a better record than we've seen so far, but color me skeptical. This might be the first time in ages that they sit out the post-season.
