The reason fellas want Lin to be traded is precisely because the coaches won't let him play point guard on this team.

Trade Lin so all the LOH and LOF get the hell out of this forum.

Also people forget we didn't get a training camp with Harden. Lin trying to adjust to a new system and harden without a training camp. Team looked a lot different in camp.

Agreed. You are only as good as they system you play. Unless, you are the superstar and the team is built around you it's tough. There's no way any team is going to build around any undrafted person, no matter how good or the potential is. Right now Houston is Harden's team plain and simple. Only time Lin can go off on a tanget and spark "Linsanity" is when Harden is injured, as we've seen in the past. People don't expect too much from Lin in this system....12-15 and 6/8 assists per night is a success. Unless, you get one of the top 5 guards in the NBA...don't dream too much.

i totally agree with you on this. jeremy looks disinterested or apathetic - even when he does well. my guess is that it's a trust issue. he seems on a short leash with the coaches, and i'm not sure if harden is convinced that jeremy can run the team.

it's pretty apparent when you compare td / beverley and jeremy's reactions to bad plays.

WTF, why was the game so early? Only got to watch the 4th, maybe it was for the best. Watching the Rockets play like headless chickens struggling to keep up with the tank-mode Bobcats was just sad. :(

-I see James is still struggling with his shot :( but got 21 FTAs , that is Durant-esque!
-Also love to see Beverley out there hustling and leaving his all on the court.
-I guess Toney still hasn't asked why he is out of the rotation :(
-Greg Smith "NWT - Family Reasons" Hope everything is ok.

Can someone please give me an unbiased and real description of what went on in the first 3 quarters? I'll rep you.

Why did PPat only play 8 minutes?
How did Lin miss those 4 shots? Box scores tells me they weren't 3pt attempts.
Was Lin's defense on Walker that bad? or was Kemba Jordan just on cheat mode today?
Announcers were saying James cannot finish with his right. Has it become that obvious?

Yeah Hardens field goal percentage is pretty bad but the way he gets the line and draws fouls is far from slacking. Harden definitely has his faults with his FG% and turnovers, and somewhat of a ball hog, but he is a pretty productive player who is the 5th top scorer in the NBA right now. Lin on the other hand is nowhere to be found. He really needs to start stepping it up or else he'll lose his starting job and possibly could get traded in the off season. Harden is the #1 player on this team. I'm far from being a Harden fan boy or someone that wants Lin to fail, I'm just stating the obvious truth. I do wish Harden would hit start hitting more shots from the field though. And I really wish Lin success on the court. If he could just start playing with more consistency that would be great and I know he's capable of it. If he starts working on his three pointers that would open so many opportunities for his game as well as the team's. It would be easier for him to make good passes because his defender wouldn't be guarding the passing lanes like they do now because of his low 3point %. I know someone's going to tell me "no s**t stefanb", but sometimes Clutchfans needs someone to state the obvious.

What do you view as being aggressive then I am curious? Is it more than just attacking the rim or is that all there is to it?

anyone likes the way Harden carries this team alone?

I personally don't like it. You can not live on free throws, simple and plain

Crossover is only part of the overall dribbling skills, some players might not be flashy, but they are steady as when it comes to handle the ball, they hardly turn it over regardless of the pressure. CP3 is a special case, he's flashy yet extremely reliable, I remember theres an artical from grantland which made a case for CP3 being the best PG in NBA history.

Lin coming off the bench in Houston wouldn't matter anyways, as the team has make it clear that all 3 perimeter positions will be handling facilitating, which is truly idiotic unless you're the Miami Heat.

not really. since this is harden's team. harden can play pg. maybe harden likes to play pg. why not just handle pg position to him and find a good sg to help him.

if trading lin now, we might get some good values back. you never know what happens in future. if his value drops in future, i guess alot of fans here will be pissed.

No one is saying Beverely is better pg than Lin. He’s a better spot up shooter for sure. The way McHale uses our guards, I rather have Lin come off bench with TD. Either way Mchale needs to have other players set screen for our guards regardless. As bad a spot up shooter as Lin is, he’s well capable knocking down shots off dribble. Also bench Paterson please. If not for Morris and Parsons, we’d have lost this game. I don’t know what to do with Asik. Nobody expected him to be an offense beast, but I didn’t know he couldn’t even catch a simple pass or make a simple dunk instead of soft layup. He’s also appeared to be tired after the first 5 min and getting slow on defense and rebound during the losing streak. I just hope his game will be back. One last thing, Harden has been playing like Kobrick. The more shot he misses, the more low percentage shot he attempts. Fire McHale already.

Nose for ball, good at finding spot up shooters and amping up the energy when he enters the game. That was Lowry 3 years ago, but maybe you didn't watch him play much back then.

I agree. But with Kidd I remember when Kobe used to D him up he had to pick up his dribble. That's why I don't think his handle is NBA elite. He's competent. But if you're elite even a more athletic defender can't pressure you.
This is all NBA relative. When I say elite I mean top few in the NBA. Not compared to college or whatever.
