    You do when you're bidding on a RFA that falls under the Gilbert Arenas rule.

    Lin and Asik are 5/5/15, but treated as $8.3M/year for cap purposes. Special case under the new CBA.

    LOL look up what the poison pill contract before speaking on it.

    Houston is paying 5 mill, it counts oh the cap as 5 mill. In year 3 it becomes 15 mill...it's called a poison pill because by year 3 the knicks would be so over the cap, that 15 mill will cost even more than that.

    THe Rockets are paying Lin AN AVERAGE of 8.3....but for this year he's only getting 5 mill.

    I think he means that he is effectively taken out of the game now, or won't have the opportunities he had with harden off the court. At least his three has been falling.

    They are both playing pretty bad. Harden is 5-19 and Lin has 4 points on 1-5 shooting with only 3 assists for Lin. He was playing way too passive in his 24 minutes out there. Look on the bright side, Harden only has 3 turnovers.

    This is a rough month schedule wise. No shock that harden Asik and Lin are struggling. None of them have played these minutes before.
