No excuse for Harden, he's missing a bunch of easy shots and making mindless turnovers.

And of course you left out the defense. Harden was getting killed by MKG and Jeffrey Taylor. Taylor probably hasnt ever dunked twice in the same game until today.

This. When Lin is not driving he turned into rafer without the shooting, useless.

Parsons needed to take more shots in the first half as he's the ONLY Rocket that's been shooting well. All the other players are scrubs....Harden, Lin, and Asik look like very expensive scrubs right now. How low can the Rockets go.....?

you can avoid getting screened. How it works is that somebody calls out the screen to the guy about to get screened. He anticipates and steps over the screen while the guy guarding the screener helps for a split second to bide time and momentarily hold up the guy with the ball.

The guy doesn't get screened, no switch or rotation is needed, and everything works out fine.

The problem is when the guy sucks at avoiding the screen, he whole defense breaks down because now it's 2 on 1.

So they can pick up quick fouls and another technical in 5 minutes so that Lin has to get subbed back in? I kid...

Both guys need to play though.

Give me a break, it's McFail's system. It should be your bigs to run the floor and finish around the rim, not your PG.

Then I guess you don't get basketball...I guess every time the Heat lose then Lebron should get all of the blame.

Not that Harden's playing all that well right now, he's certainly outplaying Lin. On this team, Lin is supposed to be a major contributor, but he's simply not even close to that right now.

Now, it's not about youth of the team or fatigue. I honestly think players are tired of the current system. They might not verbally object the coaching staff..but their lack of energy/body language states other wise.

Jeremy: what the coaches say are just suggestions, you don't have to listen to them.

This team's a bloody joke, how did we go from that fun ass team to watch and then magically turned into last year's bobcats?

The block shots is because we are so predictable on offense. Pretty much any big in the lane is just waiting for Harden/Lin/Parsons or whoever has the ball to beat their man and kick out. That's pretty much what we do now. Drive and kick the entire game.

Sadly enough, all three guys usually do actually beat their man. A testament to their skill...

This team could be so good if they had a plan on offense other than Iso and create for a three or finish in traffic.

Uhm, have you been to any games? We have no communication on the defensive end.

Yes sir. Everyone wants more though, which is just fine. We have a team that just needs to develop. It is frustrating. Personally, Aldrich should be behind DMO and I like watching Beverly play. After the team gets some practice time together Beverly will be even better out there.

This young Rockets team doesn't know how to get out of this skid.

Lin playing like player weak of body and weak of mind.

Harden isn't playing like an all-star, certainly not a superstar.

Patterson playing like (and just may be) the worst PF in basketball.

And McHale isn't a good enough coach to coach the team of this skid.

Kemba gets multiple offball screens around ft line for open jumpers. McHale doesn't have that in,his playbook i guess

Rockets don't have a roll man who rolls to the rim though. Asik does it but they leave him WIDE open & double the ball handler. That is why you see Harden/Lin trying to pass to Omer closer to the rim in tiny pockets when the D has collapsed but he fumbles it because of his bad hands. Even if Asik catches the pass but can't get the shot he will get fouled & go to the FT line & likely hit his FT's.

Patt has been bad lately so we can't do the Pick & pop with him anymore.

Rockets are using the Lin harden PNR more which is good to see.

Lol. Did you ever play basketball? I did. And it didn't help my mind reading skills as you seem to think it should.
PNR defense depends on both defenders and help defenders knowing what they're doing. I'm not saying Lin is a great defender but giving up wide open jumpers off the screen is the other mans job. He's gotta show but Asik is being lazy.
