So can we all agree that Joe Flacco is an elite QB?

Forgot to add Kaepernick to that last as well just because I think his running makes him even more dangerous.

Would a Flacco led Texans beaten the Patriots? No.

Would a Schaub led Texans with the Ravens defense beat the Patriots? Yes.

Too much emphasis on the QB position and not enough emphasis on defense.

fyp..., schaub could NOT make those throws that flacco made against the broncos and pats. schaub would NOT extend the drives that flacco did against the pats with his legs.

Would a Schaub-led Ravens beat the Broncos last week to get to Foxborough? Flacco has played lights out these past few weeks.

Flacco has been just OK in the regular season, and anywhere between good and superb in the playoffs. Flacco has never thrown for more than 25 TD in a season, has only broken a 90 QB rating once in five years, and has seen his completion % drop below 60 the past 2 seasons.

A good QB can get hot and lead his team in a post-season run, but an elite QB is one that can also get his team there with his regular season performance. Nothing about Flacco says 'Elite'. Plus that mustache is concrete evidence of his poor decision-making.

Flacco just beat Peyton Manning and Tom Brady in the playoffs, both games on the road to take his team to the SB!!!

How QBs have that on their resume???

Not sure...I do know that Schaub went into Denver and beat them with his arm. That's a fact.

Did you see the throws Schaub made against the Broncos?

You do know the air is thin in Denver right?

Yes, but are you saying that Flacco didn't have access to this same thin air?

The question was...would a Schaub led team go into Denver and win. The answer is yes.

You think Schaub is better moving in the pocket and creating a play better than Flacco? I don't think so. Flacco escaped pressure before the throw to tie that game. Could Schaub escape pressure? Hahaha.

Thats not the argument. The point is that Schaub could throw the ball well enough to beat the Broncos. And neither Flacco nor Schaub are good enough to overcome the texans defense against the Patriots.

Are then saying that Flacco would not be able to help us beat the Colts? If te Texans would have beat the Colt they wouldn't have had to play the Patriots.

No chance Matt could have made that throw to Jacoby.

My argument had nothing to do with Flacco. I'm not talking about Flacco, you are the one bringing him up. I'm strictly talking about Schaub being able to go into Denver and beat the Broncos. He's done it before and he can make the throws necessary to win.

In the regular season. During the playoffs? Not so much.

Schaub had a terrible last 7 weeks of the season...but, I think most people are forgetting that Schaub has had some great, accurate throws. Sure, his 55 yard bombs leave something to be desired, but he has been one of the better intermediate passers in the league.
