Im more mad about that the texans, didnt re-sign Leach, for me thats the key, if we had leach, foster could have played much better, all the 3rd and short, foster would convert those, if leach was the leading blocker.

Cush is badass. I met him last year and if you say the wrong thing you genuinely feel like he might haul off and hit you and that translates to the field. I love watt, I love his play but I wish we had some nasty guys some Richard Shermans, some Gholstons, Wilforks, Kruggers, Ed Reeds, Harrisons, Orakpos, J.P.P etc. I want some attitudes

After Cushing got injured, we started using 3 safeties in dime packages with Quin essentially playing linebacker and Keo or Demps back playing opposite Manning. If somehow Pollard were still on the team as a backup, more likely that he's playing that "linebacker" spot and Quin is back deep and maybe we don't give up as many bombs as we did. But that's all I got on Pollard.

    Agreed.
    The Defense needed more Attitude
    I like JJ Watt
But I was pissed Barwin and Smith did not follow his lead
    They seemed to passove
Watt brings the wood but does not seem the Rah Rah guy

    Rocket River
Cushing on the other hand . . .

I've said it before but one of the reasons behind the decline in the run game (aside from revamping the right side) is that we let go of our best blocking options at tight end and fullback. I like James Casey but IMO, having your FB be a receiving threat doesn't outweigh the importance of having a really good blocker back there at FB.

You could not be more wrong.

    <object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZHSLqcuAvmo?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZHSLqcuAvmo?version=3&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

As for Cushing. He will bark every now and again, but he is absolutely not the emotional leader of this defense.

I have not seen Vince Wilfork be anything other than an absolute classy sportsman and all-around likeable guy since he entered the league. That is really his calling card. Everybody loves him.

As for the other guys you mentioned, none of them are known as huddle leaders or trash talkers (maybe criminals, yes). So I have no idea what you're talking about. You really sound like you're talking out of your arse.

I think Vickers was a better blocker. I'm mad he plays up the road now. He helped the running game look smooth

saying jj is a nice guy is not a knock on him at all, because when it comes down to it, you can never take kindness for a weakness. i have no doubts jj will go to war for any of his teammates.. hes not a guy youre going to bully, period. i just think cush is the ultimate alpha male.

remember when schaubers said suh isnt texans worthy.. completely hypothetical but ide love to have suh opposite jj.. what are you going to do to gameplan around suh and watt.. that d would shut teams down and the secondary would go down as one of the greatest because they would reap the benefits of all the early errant throws..

Donny the only reason Cush has that face on is because he wishes he could be on the field.

Pollard would have been a nice back-up depending on his pay.

His coverage is horrendous but so are Demps' and Keo's.

Oh and +1 to being pissed at the fact that we let go of Leech and Vickers in back to back off-seasons.

Cush is a different person when suited up compared to what he's like on the sideline. He regularly interviews with 790, and you can hear the lack of fire in his voice because he knows he can't make his presence known on the field.
