i.) No excuses to lose to this team, they are better. Move, play motivated, make your shots or goo to the bench.
ii) You need to play better, the team's Win or Loss record is on you.
iii) Attack the rim and be more aggressive
iv) Sit down for the rest of the night. Both of you.
    v) Please be ready to catch the ball at all times.

Half time Rockets stats are terrible across the board.

    Patterson - 15min, 0 points, 0/2, 3 reb, 1 block
    Parsons - 18 min, 2 points, 1/4, 1 ast, 2 reb, 1 stl, 1blk, 2 TO
    Asik - 11 mins, 2 points, 1/3, 2 reb, 2 TO, 3 PF
    Lin - 13 min, 2 points, 1/5, 1 stl, 1 TO, 2 PF
    Harden - 20 min, 13 points, 3/10, 7/9 FT, 5 reb, 1 TO

    Smith - 13 min, 6 points, 3/5, 4 reb, 1 TO, 1 PF
    Delfino - 13 min, 8 points, 3/6, 1 reb, 1 stl, 1 TO, 1 PF

    Morris - 5 min, 3 points, 1/1, 1 reb, 1 asst, 1 TO, 1 PF
    Patrick Beverly - 11 min, 2 points, 0/2, 2/4 FT, 2 ast, 3 reb, 1 TO, 2 PF

Bad games all around except for Smith and Delfino on the offensive end. Morris only was in for 5 mins... but at least he's 1/1.

Team is shooting 34.2%, Minnesota is shooting 53.1%... even though we're out rebounding them.

No our half-court offense just sucks that bad. Didn't realise it would be so hard to just make the adjustment and run pnrs.

Yes and he's really good at using his ability. The way he maneuvers the ball to make it tougher for opponents to strip him, that's why he gets smack across the arms or getting bump in the air...

The thing is, when Harden drives to the basket and the officials ignores him, the more aggressive the opponents will be on him. Opponents will keep hacking Harden and take advantage of the officials ignoring Harden.

But also, other Rockets player need to start hitting their open shots so defense will open up the lane a bit for Harden and Lin. If Harden is struggling with his outside shot, he needs to get to the bucket, shoot FTs and get himself into a rhythm. But it will be hard when the defense just play zone and make the Rockets shoot 3s...

bull, you can be the best defensive player in history and youre ging to get scored on.... sometimes they score...and sometimes teh d is great. Lin was right there, shot contested. Thats really all you can do is ask the defensive player to contest the shot....talk about others d on this team because no one plays d

    Calvin Murphy wasn't too happy:

"I was a lot frustrated. I'm not sugarcoating anything ... the Rockets have got to play better defense than what we've seen out there. This Minnesota team is not only injured and lacking a lot of talent, but they're outhustling the Rockets out there tonight. This shouldn't even be a close game right now."

A team as reliant on the 3 as the Rockets is especially impact by tired legs. Our shooting from 3 for the most part is terrible tonight save Delfino.

The more I think about, Sloan would be the ideal fit for this team...very structured offense, heavily relies on PnR and backscreens, tough defensive mentality...pick up Milsap to go along with him
