    Unfortunately they had to use defensive force. The owner is an idiot. "4th admendment violation", and "they are killing family members" ..lcome on.

    **** that cop, I hope he loses his job and ends up homeless. If somebody shot my dog I'd probably shoot them.

    I'm not going to shoot anyone, but pretty much this. Every shot after the dog was on the snare was 100% unwarranted. That was completely mishandled.

    The dog was on its own property and wasn't doing anything to anyone.

    That video really sickened me and killed my day.

    I have three dogs. If anyone tried to hurt or shoot them they would suffer the same fate. I DGAF if the person doing it is wearing a government-issued costume.

    That dog was passive and purely defensive. He only made a move when those lowlifes tried to move-in on him. If some thugs like these three attempted to force themselves onto my property, I would want my dogs to be more aggressive than that.

    Sadly there are countless videos on the web of cops abusing and/or killing dogs they had no reason to harm. I'm not anti-cop by any stretch, but they need to be better trained about how to deal with dogs... and just like with a human, use of force should be a last option and one that is fully reviewed after the fact.
