True Kobe alone isn't going to work. But he is a big, big part of the reason why when they got the right players with him it did work. We don't have the rest of the right players for it to work yet, but we do have a big, big part of what's needed in harden.

And I disagree that this team doesn't have defined roles. I just think Lin fans dislike the role given to their favorite player. Harden is the playmaker who is a sg. Just like Lebron is a playmaker who is a sf. Not putting harden on the same level, just pointing out the role and showing that you don't have to be a pg to be a teams primary playmaker.

People want to blame the coaching staff for our woes, but young teams are prone to lapses like this. And no matter how much talent some people believe we have, in reality we just aren't there yet to even dream about contending with the top teams. Just because we win a regular season game or play a team close once doesn't mean we have what it takes to consistently play at that high level. This team is young and far from a finished product.

If you want to know LOF go to the thread about Lin not making the all star game... The thread is full of LOF's. I like Lin, but sick of the LOF's and the side way swipes at Harden and McHale because clearly any struggles Lin has are their fault.

As I said before, when McHale says "I don't know," he does mean it.

He has been saying I don't know just too often.

What do we need a coach for if he didn't know what to do most of the time?

What's incorrect about that statement? I mean, I don't know about "way up" but Asik's definitely has impacted both the assist and TO rates of both Harden/Lin (and Beverley as well, IIRC). I mean, we are not talking about kick-outs to perimeter shooters. Most bigs (Hibbert, Duncan, Splitter, KG, Joakim Noah, to name a few) rarely have issue catching and dunking those, no?

Someone else (not a 2012er) also made an comment earlier about how Asik should lay off his Turkish meatballs (forgot the exact quote) so he could catch the passes.

Why would you think such statement is off?

"Way up" is an overstatement ... Also Asik is the best rebounder in the NBA, he is getting the Rockets extra possessions, including Harden and Lin.

At some point Harden's team defense sucks because he doesn't execute, and at some point Lin's struggles are because of Lin.. Not Harden, the system, Douglas, Sampson or McHale.

Even the lack of productivity from our PFs was McHale's fault. He could have subbed them with DMo.

Yes and no. Yes he's been saying it a tad too often, and no in the sense that he's limited to the roster he currently has. It's not like he could ask 2Pat/MM to develop a low-post game overnight.

You sure pointed your finger at a lot of LOF; what about LOH? Are you blind? Can't read?

Agreed.... and? (Guess I'm just confused as to why such a statement would be labeled a LOF statement considering the latest "victim" tonight was Beverley.)

But in the grand scheme of things, it's not important. Snapping out of the losing streak is.

How do you expect to have a decent conversation when you're so outwardly disrespectful and arrogant.

I feel so bad for Harden, many people blames him for chucking too much... but these are shots he usually makes! The reason he's missing is because he's playing 40 MINUTES A GAME EVERY NIGHT! NOW HE HAS DEAD LEGS!

Harden is our franchise player for the next 5 years, yet McHale has managed to run him to the ground in 3 months.

    Freaking ridiculous.
