Doubtful. Anyway, who else is he going to play? The only guy I'd like to see time is Jones, and he's in the DLeague.

 

We are not getting much fast breaks lately. I wonder if it is because we are not getting easier defensive rebounds (the opponents are hustling better. I saw many times Asik fought for the rebound with an opponent and it just takes a long time to get the rebound!

 

Grow up....these arguments are seriously annoying. What the heck has Lin done to this board

 

Case 1: TRUE...lot of people joined this forum after JLin joined the rockets, but could u name amongst us who are JLin's fans and who are those trolls that keep on baiting us..

Case 2: it's not blaming...it's called OPINION....

Case 3: I never once read a 2012'rs thrashing any of the players...( in-game post are not considered because it's not an opinion but a real time reaction )...I read a lot of swearing and trashing directed at JLIN but I never once see a post swearing at Asik for being not Tyson Chandler...

And LOF is an over-used and overrated word used by some posters here when they can't refute whatever arguments they've started against Lin that the fans were able to counter...when they were proven wrong they will just come up with a crap that "oh this is 2012'rs, this is an LOF so they were lunatic,dumb,idiot..whatever words they could come up with "...

And by the way, one more thing I noticed...if u criticize Harden, you'll be labelled an LOF too...:grin:

 

The rockets coaching staff says since the beginning of the season that the offense is going through james harden. kalvin sampson.

Quick question to someone who remembers back to beginning of last year/2 years ago. Did Lin have LOFs before joining NY? Did those fans only start to really form after "linsanity"? I remember a lot of people were mad that we cut him because h played well, but we just didn't have any space with him, but I never remember any LOFs.

 

I don't think I'm the one that needs to grow up, honestly. The people who resort to calling others LOFs and LOHs at the first sign of any criticism towards anything do.

 

Even if Harden was Kobe...the offense would not work. Kobe as the ball-dominating only option went NOWHERE except getting smashed by the Suns every playoffs. That game Kobe scored 81, they still lost.

It's not like Rockets are devoid of talent around Harden, this coaching staff is just clueless as to how to utilize the strengths of each player. Not to mention no semblance of any offensive sets aside from Harden ISO ball or dump it to Harden and space the floor.

There are also no clearly defined roles on the team. Is Harden a PG? SG? Is Lin a PG or off-ball spot-up shooter like Ray Allen? Are Delfino and Parsons point-forwards? Cause they sure play like it quite often. Is TD a backup PG or SG?

 

if u read my post after that post u quote me, i did not state that harden's struggle is like to lin's struggle this seasson.. I said teams now knows how to defend him (also include how the ref handle the whistle). That is why its so frustrating to see Mchale sticking with the same ISO play through out the game when its not working.. I hope he can draw some play for his star to score easily not just by giving him the ball and do what he can do..

 

Some LOF's are trolls. Some LOF's overreact to any criticism of their favorite player. Some LOF's talk trash about the city of Houston and talk about how Lin would do so well with any other franchise. I've read it.

I have, are you kidding? I see it all the time, LOF's like to say that Jeremy Lin's assist numbers would be way up if Asik didn't suck.

I have rarley seen a LOF "prove" someone wrong. If this has ever happened, it is a reputable LOF such as tocoran or roxxy, someone with more credibility. No troll-like LOF (there are lots of them) has ever "proven" a reputable poster wrong.

If you critizice him irrationally, and have a history of being a LOF than yes. But I and many others have criticized Harden, so no that's not true.

 

I was upset that we cut him, I thought he played well enough to make the team. But no, there were no clear LOF's that I know of. Most people here that LOF's call "LOH's" though he should have made the team, myself included.

 

If you bothered to pay attention you would know I like Lin.

 

Jury is still out on the LOF part, but you sure are trolling.

 

I can't wait for February and see what Morey does at the trade deadline. Even though it might be late for the Rockets to still compete for a playoff spot.

 

This.. trade deadline can't come soon enough. We need major changes in our frontcourt.

 

who was guarding paul george? he shot 7-10 from 3's. doesnt anyone notice that he was hot? guard him.

 

No one was guarding him, lol, that's why he was hot. But I think it was a combination of Parsons and Harden.

 

Lin got a lot of casual fans due to Linsanity if that is what you're trying to point...Casual fans around the world that started following him to see how far he can go...Lin fans wishes him to be an elite someday..

The problem is, if you're a Lin fan you'll be discriminated too...LoL...
