What I don't like Maurriii and the FO is that they feel like they have to have a say in everything about the team's play. On the court coaching should be a coaches job, you can't be pulling the strings from the back. Thats why Adelman left.
I've been up and down on Moayriy for a long time, but with the team that he has assembled this season, I'm on the upswing again.
Morey has done a good job with putting some good players on this team to build around and finally landed a super star player which is not easy to do. I think it would depend on who you would replace him with. Can we get Jerry West...??? I'm just not sure Morey is the guy who can pick the right coach for this team.

Morey got us a 23 yr old franchise player with a combination of above average assets. Getting a Harden for anything less than a top 3 pick or an allstar player is a steal. That alone is proof perfect tht Morey is one of the best GMs in the biz. Lets give him a chance to find that 2nd piece. We are on our way. The future looks bright.
Why? if we make the playoffs with the youngest team in the league it will be a miracle. If we dont, we are the youngest team in the league so it doesnt matter, I wouldnt be pissed off if we didnt make the playoffs, this is the first year of the rebuild around Harden its going to take some time, just enjoy the ride. Plus if we dont make the playoffs we will actually get a pick and it might be the highest we draft for a while so it wouldnt be so bad. If we make the playoffs no pick for us.

If all those PFs weren't valuable, they would simply be cut. Morey will deal them when he gets a good offer. We have a decent team that will get better 1) as the youngsters get more experience 2) when we turn our cap space into another max player, and 3) when the excess PFs get turned into players we can use now. We have no bad contracts. That is huge. I'd be surprised to see any GM that can say that get fired.
You have Wall and your record sucks. Mcgee is something to be excited about? He's not a potential franchise player. Being contenders is the whole purpose and not many teams can say that.

Minny - Rubio & Love OkC - Westbrook & Durant Clips - Griffen SacTown - Cousins? Chicago - Rose Caves - Irving Heat - Lebron/Wade Indy - Paul George Knicks - Melo Atl - Horford 11 teams ...most of the above players are older than Harden. If we add another legit piece we'll be in very select company. Morey has turned the ship around. Even if we finish with the 14th pick we're still in better shape moving forward than 80% of the league.
