6'9" un-athletic PF who can't hit the broad side of a barn with his shot.... sounds like the perfect player to space the floor for Harden & Lin. 35 Minutes a night!

If he can get 3 rebounds and prevent 2 baskets in 30 minutes we are moving in the right direction.

Can't get any rebounds standing over in the corner with your thumb up your Furkan you know what.

Why so serious?! Don't get so defensive!

And yeah because Harden, Lin, Morris, Pat and Asik can definitely hit the broad side of a barn right now!

    HA!

Definitely not being serious. And yes, if the guy can grab a Furkan rebound I am all for him getting minutes even if he's chunking bricks from 3 point land on offense.

hey guys, i am a turkish basketball enthusiast and i was looking for your comments about Ömer. Suprised that your asking about furkan and wanted to tell how he is.

He is raised by karşıyaka, a team with lots of basketball history and good youth education, he is a 6.10 guy with a great motor. His athleticism is good for euro level, good defensive fundamentals and also high iq. Like the other turkish big man he likes contact. He likes big games, has good work ethic and and also a very good character. Soft touch around the basket. has no long range.

the thing makes him good is his timing. he block shots and crash boards thanks to his hard work and fundamental.

i have been watching this guy for 3 years and he played for my team (galatasaray) for the last 2. My opinion is that he's not a nba type of player. But who knows right?

btw motiejunas is a great prospect. If he could adjust his game to nba, you can have a patrick patterson with far more post presence.

it is all true. But as a galatasaray fan, i must add some. the guy is great in defense and rebounds because of his hardwork and high basketball iq. He also loves contact and hard to intimidate like any other turkish big men :)

Euroleague is a free site. You can see all the stats there for free. Aldemir does not play in the Euroleague. He plays in the Eurocup, a different lower level European league, the league Beverely played in.

At this link, which has nothing to do with the Euroleague website, but is the biggest international basketball site in the world, you can see his stats in both the Turkish League and the Eurocup.

    http://www.eurobasket.com/team.asp?Cntry=Turkey&Team=328&Page=3

If you want to see his Euroleague stats, then you need to go to the Euroleague's website and look at last year's stats. Because he does not play in the Euroleague this year.

Aldemir's stats in Euroleague last season:

    http://www.euroleague.net/competition/players/showplayer?pcode=003328&seasoncode=E2011

If you will notice, on the right side of the screen, it tells you which league the player plays in during each season. For example, the top Euroleague, or the second Eurocup. You just have to click on each season and you get the stats. But they are two different leagues. You don't have to pay anything.
