But the average is 95, and likely because they always get hot during garbage time. The offense has been trash, during that streak the offense looked better because the bigs have been making their shots.

The fact is, D-mo has a lot of offensive talent and if he can prove that he can translate that onto a NBA court it CANNOT hurt. It just can't.

Morris is not giving us anything defensively, might as well try D-Mo one night.

You might as well try both Jones and D-mo...

If the losing streak goes to around 10 games....they ought to give it a thought. But it's tough blaming the coach to a degree, Rockets need someone at the 3 that can grab more rebounds and get more points on a more consistent basis. Hope GS and Memphis lose tonight....

If that were the case he wouldn't take 19 shots. He's playing career high minutes and it's clearly taking a toll. The man needs rest.

Once again we allow a team that struggle to put up points score over 100. The defense is the fundamental problem. If the PFs can't provide offense, they need to provide defense, shot blocking, and rebounds. They need to contribute in other ways when they become offensive liabilities. Lakers in playoffs and we get the 14th pick again this year.

c'mon MCHAEL let JLin run the offense and tell Harden to move, so he can score easily not just doing ISO play. every team knows how to defend him.. Hes not Kobe that has hundred moves.

Seems like opponents know the Rockets weakness, pack the paint on defense and gang rebound on offense o_O.

McHale must think harden is on Lebron/melo/kobe level. Not even close right now

And this is the key to it all.

They aren't doing anything positive out there.

I can't say "Pat really shut down West tonight!" or I can't say "Morris hit some timely shots when we needed them!"

No, all I can remember is them both being abused by West and they both passing up open shots or bricking 3s. They both brought nothing and the coach can't continue to reward them with PT.

Popovich would have been made the change.

    What do these scores mean?

    How are you calculating these?

Seems like Lin and Parsons didn't try very hard today. Maybe they refuse to play hard because this iso ball, half courts don't work. When we were running and gunning, you literally see the fear in other teams' eyes. We don't get that anymore. We are going back to the offense when we were 12-12. That offense sucks. We lost, and offense wasn't clicking. When we were running and gunning, we destroyed teams. We stopped running and gunning in the New Orleans game. Now we lose 6 straight.

looks like teams learned how to defend harden also since he really only shoots 3's and drives to left side of rim

Nothing we can do except ride this losing streak out.

Can someone tweet Morey to tell the coach to give Harden more rest?

Defending Lin and defending Harden is practically the same so it's like a bonus. Play the both to drive, pack the paint watch the turnovers compile up and profit.

When we were running and gunning, we beat teams like nothing, even when we were down by 18. Some games, maybe Mchale forced the half court iso games, and would result in 18 point deficit. When we started running and gunning within the same game, we overcome the 18 and beat the other team by 20. Why are we slowing down again?

Honestly, it wasn't about great defense on Harden. Our PF's were so terrible tonight Indiana was free to pack the paint, put their worst defenders on Patterson and Morris, and then double on Harden and Lin with impunity.

Aside from that Harden was just missing shots and had sloppy ball handling. Personally I think it's fatigue. They played him 41 minutes tonight... AGAIN!

Seriously, they need to Rest Harden more minutes and put Anderson or Delfino in the SG position more.

Get Harden down to 35ish minutes, and stagger Lin around 33ish minutes with more time on the floor apart from Harden.

You're NOT going to develop great back court chemistry when you're on the road and playing back to backs all the time. There's just NO time for practice.

Get past January, then there's time to rest and practice them together more, then you're in solid shape for the last push during the season.
