Uh-huh, figure it out instead of having to correct yourself. Okay, so Mr.NoHoes says Gortat can't play PF because he claims he does not have the skill set so we'll leave it at that since he knows all. Obviously you have some kind of beef with Gortat... maybe he stole your ball and made you walk home crying. Really Varejao? He has the skill set to play PF over Gortat that totally discredits any semi-valid points you may have had.
he was saying the Sun do not have any players on their team that we dont already have someone similar to. Meaning making a trade with them will result in redundancy. the line about "They are like the Eastern Conference version of the Rockets." was a joke. i got it. They are a weaker version of us, or more like they are what we used to be last year, which makes sense considering 2 out of 5 of their starters were our starters last year
Refusing the player option for Dragic was dumb anyway. Now that we have Harden here to stay, I think it makes even less sense. I'd trade Lin for Dragic straight-up regardless of the option. As for Gortat, I think having 2 good centers is not a bad thing at all. You can have him slide between center and power forward. Asik plays 32 minutes, all at center, Gortat plays 32 minutes (16 at center, 16 at power forward), and our best remaining power forward plays 32 minutes.
i had a really great sorry for you, then i saw your twitter link and felt sorry for you. Its not ok to mess with r****ds #bewell
I dont think the offer made to Gortat was way below the MLE if I remember correctly. Gortat signed the Mavs offer because it was the first team to offer the full MLE. Orlando had said they would match any offer for Gortat, so by signing the Mavs offer, his agent insured he got the most money.
That explains it all! Well it was good arguing with you Royce, obviously, this hasn't gone too far for that reason alone. Thanks for flying, have a safe trip.
Why would they trade for that? We would have to give Dmo or Jones + Greg Smith and take back Shannon Brown to get Gortat.

SVG should wait for a better coaching opportunity. Unless they hit the jackpot with their pick and the LA pick, the team will be indefinitely mediocre.
I don't buy it. I don't buy it. The Suns are like the Rockets now (good, but not great). I think they would be exactly where the Rockets are if they were in the East.
funny fights in here lmao but gortat could play pf right? lin needs a pnr big and gortat would be that guy
The Sun is the center of the solar system. I don't buy it. It's not a case of buying or not buying it, it's a case of what the facts are. Regarding Gentry and Suns, we don't know what happened between the two of them however the media doesn't really hesitate in saying when someone gets fired, their headlines were Mike Brown was fired or D'Antoni was fired. Regarding Lin and Dragic, the Rockets had to decide on whether to let Dragic walk BEFORE they made an offer to Lin, and that was with Dolan saying he would match Lin up to a billion dollars. Morey even admitted on radio that he never believed Dolan wasn't going to match until they didn't. So unless Morey was lying for no reason and was somehow 10 steps ahead of everybody on the planet, Dragic being let go and Lin are totally unrelated.
He can't play PF because we already have two traditional centers in Smith and Omer. Gortat wouldn't be able to PNR because the paint would be clogged with too many guys in there. It's the same problem Orlando had when they tried playing DH and Gortat together, the twin towers style only works when one of the guys has a really good jumper ala the Admiral or Kelvin Sampson.
