Why not? He's adds size plus he has an expiring contract.

After reading some of the other post:
I think there is something to what is being said

True --> but his contract is up and at rookie scale as far as expiring

    SO...

    Patterson and D-Mo
    ...for...
Evan Fournier, Jordan Hamilton and a 2nd round pick

ADDED the 2nd round pick for the hope of D-Mo's future

Would you do it? / Would Denver?

when i grow up, i wanna be just like darko.
apart from brian scalabrini, he's the biggest badass that contribute's close to nothing to his team, yet still looks like "yeah im the man" in all his pics

Derrick Williams being shopped "heavily", maybe could possibly be had for cheap. He has a game that would fit well with our uptempo style.

Damn you're right! I still think the overall trade is fair, but good point. They don't need that many bigs.

I think this trade will work for everyone involved, what do you guys thinks.

    Houston:
    In: K Love
    Out: PPat/Tony D/Cole/Morris + Picks

Reason: Houston Loves some KLove, he is a good bruiser inside and can shoot the 3. He is also another star that would be great to build around.
Houston Line up: Lin/Harden/Parson/Love/Asik - Probably playoff bound

    Mini:
In: Millsap/Bell/Cole/Morris/Krover+ Pick from Hou 1st+Utah 2nd rd
    Out: KLove/DWilliam
    Mini Line up: Rubio/Bell/AK47/Millsap/Pekovic

Reason: Minni has hit the injury bug this trade will bring them right into the play-off mix. Millsap isn't a big drop off from Love. Bell is a SG they need right now and Morris is a nice piece that can play the stretch 4. All are expiring except Morris. They can sign Millsap back at around 11M and would have some cap room.

    Utah
    In: Josh Smith/Patterson/Douglas
    Out: Millsap/ Bell/ Jefferson+pick
    Utah Line up: Willams/Hayward/Smith/Favors/Kanter

Reason: Utah is going to loose Millsap and Jefferson, their bigs are ready to take over. Bell has been banned from the team. They will get maxium return by getting Smith. But he is an expiring and could be lost in free agency, Doing this trade Utah doesn't really loose anything that they were not prepared to loose already in Millsap and Jefferson. They get an All-Star for a rental but get Patterson for sure. They'll probably make the play offs and have great cap room if Smith is not resigned. Currently Mo William is injured so Tony will be a good replacement for the time being.

    ATL:
    In: Jefferson+Dwill+
    Out: Smith/krover
    Line up: Starter: Teague/Lou Williams/Stevenson/Hartford/Jefferson

Reason: We all know Hartford should be a PF not a C, Jefferson comes in at the C. Hartford to the 4, Dwill will be a great back up.

Is not a bit step back from what they have now but will have a little more friendly to the cap.

You know height isn't everything. Sure he's 6'8, but he's actually not a midget PF due to his massive 9'0 reach and 7'1.5 wingspan, that reach and length allows him to play a lot bigger then his 6'8 frame would suggest.

Note of Interest: He has a higher standing reach then Patrick Patterson, Terrence Jones and Greg Smith

I'd actually like Derrick Williams... he's showed flashes of tremendous upside... I'd take him on the cheap, if one of the top tier targets (Love, Gortat, Milsap, JSmith) can't be had for a pupu platter that omits our main 4 guys (Asik/Parsons/Hardin/Lin)....

Lin, Aldrich, Patterson, Douglas, Morris need to be traded for pieces that fits this team better.

Lin- Needs to be swapped with a spot up shooter who can play decent D

Patterson/Morris/Aldrich - need to be traded for a 4 who can do 2/3 (Play D, Rebound, Shoot)

Douglas- with PB now either needs to step up for the starting role or be traded along with other's.

    Well here a big one:

    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=a65e7jm

    Lin and Patterson
    ...For...
    Lamar Odom(filler) and Eric Bledsoe

Yes, it hurts at first but the future is even brighter. Even MORE money - capspace in the off-season when Odom falls off the books (a D.Fisher type move / he NEVER plays for us:)). PLUS a better fit in Bledsoe with our superstar (who we need to build around anyway).

-The Clips would look at this one, IMO.

i don't understand it for the Clippers, i think it hurts them financially, on the court and they lose on assets.

I love some of the ideas here lately. Rumor: Wolves shopping Williams. Responses: if the Wolves throw in Love, we'll help them get Millsap. That's awesome.

love can stay where he is. His defense is worse than patterson and we will just use him the same way we use the players we have now. Camp in corner shooting 3 pointers at a low % with injured hand. His rebound numbers will drop with asik on the floor. We need a defensive /rebouinding presense on the foot that can play in the paint as well. No more chuckers. K love wont net us a ring in the next 4 years. We just need to save the cap space until a real superstar becomes avaialbe while growing the rookies mchale refuses to play.
