    Yao would've been reduced to Pau Gasol's b****-ass. I'm glad things worked out the way they did because Yao was great on his own and left a proud legacy that we should all embrace moving forward with our young team. Hopefully we'll all look back at that team with the same warm feelings we have looking back at the '86 team.

    Tracy McGrady has a history of not being healthy and he has never played a full nba season or season in china.

    Therefore he's not dependable, it has been proven in the reality of reality.

    Yao would be hurt, Kobe would threaten to leave the team because his teammates wouldn't be good enough, and we would miss the playoffs.

    We are all assuming Tracy is not on the team but Tinman never said its without Tracy so the lineup will look like this

    PG:Rafer/Bob Sura Depending on the year
    SG:Kobe
    SF:Tracy
    PF:Juwan/Luis/Chuck depending on the year
    C:Yao

    I think we win multiple rings.

    When Yao was healthy enough to last through to the Finals, he wasn't dominant enough and the supporting cast was too terrible to enable a title with Kobe.
