Embarrassing for T-Mac to be beaten by these slouches you listed.

    Tinman posts:

    3. I remember the glory days so gimmie your reps!

I don't even know why I'm responding to this...

LeBron is one of the most complete, skilled basketball players ever. Far more complete than Kobe ever was. Kobe was incredible in his own right, but didn't control all facets of the game - and his sheer impact was only comparable to LeBron's when he was on fire.

LeBron literally does whatever he wants today.

Lebron is an athlete. You can put him in football, soccer, hockey, pretty much any game that relies on physical ability and speed, and he would excel right away.
Kobe however has a higher basketball iq, dont let all those missed shots fool you, he would just rather miss the shot than let ron or any other player miss it.

Somebdy once put it best with this line
"Lebron is a great athlete playing basketball, Kobe is a great basketball player"

I think T-Mac had better physical tools than Kobe but Kobe did a better job of taking care of his body. And some poster hit it on the head with the mental aspect. Kobe Bryant was definitely more competitive. This league is full of a bunch of these guys that are supremely talented with comparable ability. Sometimes, it's just that competitive drive and willpower that gives a guy an advantage.

I found a video of this game I was talking about earlier. I don't remember the exact narrative but basically T-Mac was lighting up the Lakers through 3 quarters. They were on the ropes but Kobe went into Kobe mode and willed a comeback.

Hulk Hogan and Rick Flair had back problems, yet they still competed and won championships.

I dont care what care what anyone says, tinman etc, but Tmac in his prime ORL days when he was murderin suckers, he made kobe touch the ground looking for loose change.

He had Kobe doin somethin strange for a piece of change. We're not talking about accolades, chips, achievements, strictly one on one and Mac gave him the business on multiple occassions

This comin from a so-so Mac fan

Yeah, McGrady took a few years to develop into a great player. Beating up on a rookie and bragging about it is kinda sad. It's what you'd expect from Kobe.

I remember when McGrady used to beat up on LeBron during his first few years in the NBA. It's nothing to brag about.

    game 7 vs utah

rockets fans getting hit by reality hard.

i know there are tofs here, they don't feel what you feel.

remember when the rockets played the lakers ? kobe was there on the court.
    tracy wasn't.

    your best player should be:

    1. healthy
    2. A great leader that the team/organization/fans believe in
    3. have a great relationship with his coach

    oh NWO for life!

T-Mac couldn't make it to court, he was too busy making his espn rounds proclaiming his love for Kobe as the best basketball player he has ever played against. While at the same time, kicking the team paying him to sit out for the year under the bus, by proclaiming "The Lakers would easily beat us without him (t-mac playing)
Must have hurt when we took them to 7 games with Aarn Brookes, no Yao, and a job hunting Ron Artest
