Westbrook hurts his teams in so many ways rather than helping. He would be better if he was playing the 2 guard and was the number 1 option

I think at this point, you can say Harden is better than Westbrook.

Well Westbrook still got higher PER and is probably more impactful player outside of numbers...

If James Harden and Westbrook switched places, and Harden gets to pass to Durant, Kevin Martin, Ibaka, Sefolosha, and Collison while Westbrook passes to Lin, Asik, Parsons, and Morris, PER and any other stat would look very different.

Not to mention Westbrook would be the primary focus of all defenses, unlike when he's with Durant.

The only reason WB has a higher PER is because he chucks too much and he's the only other option in OKC outside of KM and KD. You might think Harden has it better since he's the first option here, but the Rockets have a ton of other scorers like Lin, Parsons, MM/PP, Delfino and hell even Smith/Asik all of whom would give you 10-20 pts a night. On the Thunder, outside of KM, KD, and WB is there anyone else whom you can count on to score more than 20 pts a night?

If you think Westbrook has more impact than Harden outside of numbers than I got nothing to say to you. Maybe if you're talking about negative impact lol.

You two certainly appear to have it covered.

Cannot believe it, but thus far, this season Harden has been better than Westbrook. I expected Harden to be a Mitch Richmond type player, but I did not think he would be THIS good. I also thought Westbrook would improve more.

I would love to have either, but Harden has just been better.

Harden raw stats are flawed, because Rockets play by far the fastest pace in the league. Westbrook is still averaging over 20/8/5/2. Only three players has ever done than(Jordan, Magic, CP3).

That defeats the purpose .... A no.1 option that hurts his team more than helps him IMO

Put Westbrook on his own team and be the primary focus of defenses and see what he averages before you say Harden's stats are flawed.

Harden is the better player right now.

really, yet the thunders have the best record in the nba
and screw the argument about westbrook not passing enough to Durant, Durant has won the last 3 scoring titles.
Who else do you expect to score on that team, do you think Durant will average 50-70 ppg by himself if westbrook keeps passing to him.
Without Westbrook, the thunders have no identity.
Without westbrook, the thunders would have never made it to the finals.

Durant is a scorer who gets most of his shots from shooting. Sometimes your shots dont fall even wide open layups, Westbrook is versatile- Durant is not. He is trying this year to play both ends of the court, but thats not his style of play.

There is a reason the thunder brass paid westbrook the max, traded harden and underpaid ibaka.

Funny how someone with the username of "FeartheBeardJH" thinks Westbrook is better than James Harden, and his signature has "Jeremy Lin is a medicore point guard" ...
