I am becoming more and more certain that those posters arguing that Lin won't produce more with more screens and variations either:
    1) have not watched Lin played with Knicks before, especially during the Linsanity period, or
    2) don't have enough understanding of what screens and its variations are, and how powerful they can be for any point guards.

Harden is 6'5" and he can roll to the basket or pop. Picks are normally set by a big guy, and in this case Harden is the bigger guy compared with Lin's 6'3" and Douglas' 6'2".

This is a play that I would like to see more of.

Yes, that immediate change shows how he's been misused or abused by Sampson.

Watch replay of games by CP3, Parker, Westbrook, Calderon, Feldon etc, and count the number of screens and PNRs they have used before you compared them with Lin, then you will see the difference in the frequency.

So you think a starting point guard's qualification is measured only by his own scoring?

Thank you for doing the research and posting the numbers here. This will quenched a lot of subjective and emotion-based arguments.

Kobe is averaging 29.9 PTS this season, the best of his career, and he has publicly admitted that it was because he had almost doubled his use of screens and variations.

There has never been any good roll guy by birth. They need to be trained and developed. And that was what Lin had been doing with misses sometime.

Before the Rockets front office let go of all their veteran players except 4 rookies last offseason, they had decided to rebuild the team through training and development, as evidenced by Delfino being the only player with more than four years of NBA experience, and our starters being the youngest in the league.

This is why Morey didn't get a roll guy maybe good enough to your standard. Good rolling, passing and popping bigs are not only very expensive but extremely hard to come by.

So what should we do before Morey gets his hand on one?

It so easy to blame everything on some one they don't like, and forget that basketball is a team game, and Lin has to live with a young-and-not-ready roster put together by Morey.

I don't understand how the hell at some point Delfino has guarded Nowitzki, damn, the team have 4-5 PF's and coach does not plays them. It went bad when we started the season well, because now they trying to get into playoffs instead of giving playing time to rookies and get a high pick on draft. It's just stupid as hell.

The floor has been spaced. It's just the 3's were not falling. Did you notice how many times the commentator said "and it was a open shot" tonight?

Same for the other four lost games in this losing streak.

Lin had both his feet before the restricted area arc and his was already set before the call. The instant replay evidenced that.

It's a pity Lin doesn't have the like of Tyson Chandler, Landry Fields, JR Smith, Iman Shumpert or even Jared Jeffries to alley-oop to.

Les Alexander prefers Lin from a business point of view.
Morey signed Lin up from a GM's point of view.
McHale isn't that keen on Lin from his unknown point of view.

The posters here who have never watched Lin played before coming to Houston have their point of view.

As a Bleacher Report article says, this is the cheapest roster in the league. Still a lot of people are complaining and finger pointing. That's the limitation of human being.

Jeremy Lin was the best player of Knicks during the Linsanity period.

The Lin/Harden PNRs may be effective enough for you but far from enough for the team to win over good teams, especially not when Harden is double teamed.

Lin needs to work with all the centers and forwards in PNRs. Same for Harden. Just watch what the best teams are doing.
