Harden was benched today because this was hist first truly ****ty game as a Rocket.

Meanwhile, I'm happy to see Beverly playing well, but I'm not expecting the Rockets to win this game. McHale will start the starters in the third and Rockets will get blown out.

Harden and Lin need to play big minutes. They have to get used to it. We are not winning the title this year so might as well let our foundational players get more experience.

lin isnt going anywhere~ the coach just doesnt know how to play a team basketball..... when the PG handling the ball.. other 4 players all standing outside of arc.. barely a fake screen...

I wish I was patient but I'm not. If I were the coaching I would not have a voice anymore and I would start the game with Beverley, Douglas, Anderson, Smith & Asik to make a statement.

I still don't know why even after 39 games, they still make Lin sit in that fricken corner when they know he isn't a catch and shoot type of guy. I seriously question McHale's coaching ability.

I see Lin playing for Golden State next year...

se Houston cut him last year , so he plays for them now... so after the logic he have to play with Warriors next season..;)

Since Beverley is already getting his minutes might as well see how he does with Douglas' role.

Lin got benched because he is scared. He is playing basketball with fear, like a child. Second guessing himself every chance he gets. In the NBA, If you do that for a second, you are toast.

Need to start benching non producing players like he did last season. Start holding players accountable and give the bench players more minutes if starters. Slacking

no you play the game to win and our backcourt is the top scoring back court in the nba....besides that i read in an article today that LIN is a top 3 defensive PG in the NBA and last night he score 12 on 9 shots and had 10 assist.....so you bench him?

Dude, James Harden does everything. Literally everything. The Rockets should be called "Harden and young scrubs with some potential to not be scrubs"...

Lin actually sat about the time he normally sits, what was unusual is he also sat Harden at the same time (and we got slaughtered).

2nd quarter Lin and Harden both started on the bench, and Harden came in a bit later. Expecting they'll save Lin for more minutes in the 2nd half and so that Beverly can get more in game burn.

Not sure if they'll play Harden right out of the gate in the 3rd quarter.

They really need to find a way to reduce the minutes on Asik, Lin, Harden and Parsons. The fatigue is really killing them right now and it's obvious on the floor.
