Mavs led by 14 in against the Clippers in Los Angeles only lose by 5. The Mavs have won i think 4 of the last 6 and now our getting used to having Dirk back. They are starting to click.They are no easy beats.

This losing streak is definitely a dose of reality for how good and inconsistent this team is. I suppose it's helped keep my expectations in check, I was sort of hoping we'd get 6th seed in the West, but realistically I'll be happy if we can just make the playoffs.
4th to 6th seed was always on the high end of expectations for this team. That said, we all knew that January was going to be brutal, while the rest of the year is much more friendly. If we end this month anywhere around .500 territory, we'll be right in the mix for a good play off spot especially with schedules tightening for several teams like GSW and Portland.
We lose 7 more games before we get a win. End up with the 9th spot in the West, Utah ahead of us in the pack. Predicting it/jinxing it now.
