I would agree he's been our second most clutch player for the year. He leads the team in 3pt percentage and FT percentage, and earlier in the season he had a number of clutch 4th quarter performances. So, yes I think he would be second behind Harden.

In the last five minutes it seemed like the mentality of team ball switched to hero ball and that's when the $hit hits the net.

I think ppl complaining about Lin's defense is ridiculous.... they can't complain about his scoring or facilitating tonight so they gotta pick on something else. Sorry to break it to you folks, if everyone on this team plays defense with as much energy as Lin, we would have at least 5+ more wins.

This is a bad defensive team, everyone knows that. The goal has always been to try to outrun and outscore our opponents... that is not happening right now as 3's are not falling and FT are not falling. Those two facts alone mean a loss every night for this team. There are hundreds and hundreds of replies to game threads when they are all superfluous.

If you saw actual defensive errors, feel free to cite specific plays and the details of that specific error. Saying "XXX Scored" means nothing unless you can point out a specific break down in the defensive scheme.

Good offense beats good defense. It's just the reality of the game. Otherwise teams would be winning 100 to 20.

He's always been a prolific scorer. It's his lack of mastery of all the other parts of the game that is the reason he never became an elite player.

TD showed he was clutch in December when he was allowed to close out 4th quarters of ballgames at PG over Lin. Then McHale bowed to pressure and started allowing Lin to close full time... and fail often.

(1)3pt shots and layup are efficient in offense. I agree with coaches on them. I think the mistake the coaches have made is to take out the mid range shots completely. Opponents have figured out our predictable offense. When our 3s don't fall and driving lanes have been blocked, mid range shots are the way to get hands hot again. Even for the purpose of warming up for better 3s, coaches should allow the players to shoot some mid ranges. This is not a fantasy basket ball.
(2)Now if coaches wake up and allow our players to play some mid range games, good screens can be really helpful. I don't understand why we have several penetrating guards and our coaches don't like setting screens for them. Put these players at any other teams I bet we will see a lot of assisted driving rather than just spacing the floor and iso. More PnR also improves team chemistry.

Clippers made their free throws and the Rockets didn't and they shot almost 58% from 3. That was the difference in the game.

I am still a happy man as soon as blazers lose as we are fighting for that precious playoff spot.

I noticed that too. What's up with that?

They are always giddy about TD. It's like a love fest.

The coach should use TD more wisely. I think he would be great running off of screens to free him up for open jumpshots. Running the point is not his strong-suit.

If Lin sits and the Rockets go with a three guard rotation of Harden, TD and Beverley, I bet the Rockets get hot and go on a winning streak...

Unfortunately, the $25 million dollar man won't be sitting anytime soon.

I can count the one that made me laugh the most. He's guarding Green or Crawford at the corner 3 spot. Griffin sets a pick about 3 feet away and instead of continuing to guard his mad he runs into the pick but his mad never used it, he just stayed we're he was and sank a 3. He never faked or or anything, Lin moved for no reason at all. He GUESSED.
