Clutchfans is so hilarious! 5 game winning streak, "We can make a deep run in playoffs! No team wants to face us in the first roudn!" Then 4 game losing streak "We suck! This team has no passion" This is the youngest team in the NBA.. the goal of this season is to develop the players and make a big move in the off season with our great, great cap flexibility. Making a 1st round playoff appearance would be nice, I guess, but not important.
This, and letting some stuff get into their head recently. It's a funk with a young team, they'll snap out of it soon. SNAP ALREADY!!
Rockets is a fun team to watch. But the Clutch fans are hilarious. We won a few games. Yes, we are make the playoff. We lost a few games. No, we suck big time! We are a young team. We need time to develop and built. LMAO!
The schedule is catching up with them. When I looked at this months brutal schedule, I was hoping the Rox could at least tread water. Don't want them to go on any prolonged losing streaks like they did last year to put them out of playoff contention. Rox not helping themselves with the missed free throws of late either. Rox have to play smarter on the defensive end as well. Just growing pains of a young team.
Yes sir. I have been preaching this since before the 5 game win streak. They just don't see the whole picture. We won a few games and they were blinded by the light. They all of a sudden THOUGHT we were a legit title contender with the team we have. Young teams will do just what our team is doing. Win some, lose more... You HAVE to expect that of them. I do believe they will pick it back up later in the year. Im hoping we can pull off a trade for a legit PF at the deadline to really get this Rocket Ship blasting off.... Even then, it will take another 2 years to really be legit. So be patient people.
Teams have figured out how to defend our offense. They've sagged off of Asik on pick and rolls so much that we hardly run pick and rolls through him anymore thus forcing Harden and Lin to play more iso's. Our power forwards (Patterson and Morris) are just spot up shooters and they can't even knock down J's consistently.. They don't have any post game and are terrible rebounders as well. Main reason why coach McHale has been forced to play small ball late in games is because we have a center that basically has zero offense and power forwards who.. (ahem).. suck. Too bad we have two of the best pick and roll players in Harden and Lin but none of our pick setters can finish in the paint.
Maybe we should develop our rookies to build a stronger bench..or just send them Back and forth to RGV
