He traded Lowry because he got a high first round draft pick that became Harden. Make no mistake Morey would deal Lin if he could get equal value to what he got for Lowry.

I'm OK with these losses. The Rockets are a young team and will have their highs and lows during a long season.

The thing I'm not OK with is the lack of effort on the defensive end. You have to show some heart and play defense.

Rockets DO NOT have a decision to make if this keeps up. Are you forgetting this is Lin and Harden's FIRST season together? I can't believe you said that.

Come on man, be realistic. We're in a growing stage. And we will grow, in a + way.

Dude doesn't even know that Crawford is not a backup.

He just comes off the bench, THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE.

That dude is always in the game closing and that's what matters.

Also our front court gets styled on every game. Asik hustles and plays his heart out but his hands are too unreliable. I'm starting to think his best role is to come off the bench and be a energy-hustle guy.

What are you talking about??? The question was about SGs! Harden vs Crawford. When did this turn into a lin conversation??

I'm sorry but this loss is mostly on McHale. 1 pt lead going into the half, and McFail rests on his laurels probably telling his guys "great job, keep doing what you're doing, play hard... go get 'em"

Meanwhile Del Negro makes the adjustments needed. 2 minutes into the 2nd half and the game was over.

BTW, McHale how about making your team practice their FT over the last two days you had off???

Because, when both starting Rocket guards (Lin, Harden) get outplayed, the Rockets are guaranteed to lose.

Nash never played defense at all. Lin hustles on the defensive end so he burns more energy on both sides of the floor.

Also how can you project Lin's ceiling at this point, he doesn't have a season yet under his belt as a starter, Nash took 4-5 seasons before becoming all-star/elite.

I guess people are going to hear what they want to hear. Bill will be critical of players sometimes, as I think he should be.

Can't really be mad at the defense this game. Defended them tough and made them take a lot of low percentage shots, long 2s, contested 2s, contested 3s. The LAC were just hitting a lot of tough shots today. Well, except for 2Pat, obviously. Dude plays softer than Jose Calderon. Morris is smaller but plays so much bigger than 2Pat. Seriously dude needs to be permanently planted at the end of the bench behind Motiejunas and Jones.

On offense, f*** the coaching staff. Things were working so well when they went to setting a lot of screens for both Harden and Lin. Even this game the one screen in a blue moon ended well, but they just don't do it. When is the allergic-to-screen fail experiment offense going to end? Sure hope it's soon, and if it means a mid-season coaching change, then so be it.

this team needs to play defense consistently from now on for the rest of this season, or we'd miss the playoff like the last a few years.

Not when you play two feet off of the guy and put a hand up in the air (not necessarily in his face) without even jumping or not elevating to contest when Crawford drives it in to shoot.

Was Jeremy Lin responsible for any of those defensive errors?

The Rockets were favored by 3 1/2 points to win.

    Sriously?? Amazing, if serious.

If someone comes off the bench then theyre someone's backup.
