THat's what I'm saying... not only did Harden get lit up in the 3rd quarter to the tune of 11 pts by Green... but he also got beat on a leak out after he chucked a 3.

Willie Green went 5-6 w/ Harden "guarding" him the entire time. I do agree that Harden tried more defensively than he usually does, but it's not like he was effective defensively.

Lin was burned by Bledsoe at times and had to foul some. And was killed by Crawford - but Crawford is way too long/big for Lin to guard - If anything in that stretch, Parsons should have been on Crawford, Morris on Parson's man, and Lin on Barnes.

Patterson got lit up on Blake and so was Parsons when he was on Crawford. I guess we are screwed.

Concur - plus Lin usually play like s__t on 2nd game B2B if he play 30+ the game before. Harden shooting also not uber efficient recently. I would have rested them for Dallas game but now both just clock 35 minutes.

    The entire teams defense sucks.

As I say over and over again the only defense this team can play is wearing teams out with breakneck pace.

ESPECIALLY a older team on a b2b like the Clippers. That's how they were playing during that streak where they beat some of the better teams like Chicago and Boston because they could not match that pace for the entire game.

When they slow down and pass the ball down low to Asik they are just making things harder.

Are you saying Harden played better defense than he usually does or Harden played better defense than Lin? If it's the latter, I don't even... what...

Seriously, why single out Lin on D? Entire team got lit up. Barnes, Willie Green, Blake, Crawford, Bledsoe all had big games. Lin wasn't guarding them all.

No one hates Lin. They criticize his game. He makes tons of turnovers, he cant shoot the ball by nba standards, and his defense leaves a lot to be desired. Realize that this a professional league, players get glorified and criticized. Why should lin be excluded? If you cant see how average to below average lin is playing im assuming you dont follow basketball. Please dont gize me stats for one game, that doesnt say much.

Please do not mention James Harden and "defense" in the same sentence.

Hate to go against the kneejerk/eye test by using Synergy stats. But Jeremy Lin has a defensive ranking of 95 which is better than the following players: Chris Paul is 116. Eric Bledsoe is 204. Matt Barnes is 118.

True, but those other teams we lost to on our losing streak never had a 17 game winning streak this year is all I'm sayin...

I'm not. Actually pretty far from being ridiculous. For instance, in today's game when Lin was left undefended on the 3-point line. Clyde said, "They're going to leave him open allll game long" in a very mocking way. Why make fun of someone on the Rockets?

Then we he was in the corner and stepped on the 3-point line we he made a shot in the second quarter when we were on a run. They're at it again. "How many times has he stepped on that three point line?" "Too many times!"

Or there was an earlier game when Lin missed a shot, and Bill remarked, "he barely drew iron". As if he really had to rub it in.
