if we made those free throws, it won't look this bad.

 

McHale needs to dedicate a shoot around exclusively to free throws.

 

I know Douglas made that layup but why didn't he give it to Parsons who was hot and Barnes was limping holding his knee?

Harden and Lin at this point are defense liabilities. The former the entire season.

 

Damn this garbage free throw shooting has really become contagious.

 

sadly and two of those fts were techs , toney douglas plays with passion lin plays with stupidity

 

You also forgot to mention that we were up by like 35 points in those games, so we just played laxed. We didn't need to play defense because we were just playing the clock. So when we were like up 80-50 against the Bulls, by the time we hit 120, the Bulls made several runs, but even those big runs were meaningless. So opponent's average points is misleading sometimes. Sometimes we just give points up when the outcome was already determined in the 3rd quarter.

I think the Rockets seem to have avoided their run and gun offense. No idea why however.

Free throws are a mental thing a lot of times.

Some coaches will tell you that the more you focus on it the more it becomes a problem.

 

Credit to Del Negro, he made adjustments at the half and shut us down. I remember not long ago people were calling for him to be fired when the Clippers were underperforming but he's really gotten it together and turned them into a well oiled machine.

 

Just noticed Lin doesn't have a steal this game... 17 game steal streak on the line

 

Clippers 54.5 3P% is higher than our 52.6 FT%.

 

cant beat an elite team because you dont have a quaility big, thats why,,,everything else is there....

 

Youth. Youngest team and least experienced team in the league...Not sure why people think we are going to be super consistent like the Spurs....This team has barely been together for more than 1/2 a season. We get sloppy and losing streaks definitely happen. Everyone needs to get over it!
