I personally like Bledsoe's game and don't have anything against him. I just wanted to point out that Lin is also good at defense and he has improved his ball handling, most of his turnovers are risky passes or off charges.

I agree his handle has improved dramatically since the beginning of the season. the ones I don't like that he could eliminate come from risky bounce passed in the lane and when he goes for the layup nothings there and he is in the air and tries to pass it. I have noticed him taking tours through the lane without picking up the dribble aka Steve Nash. He will improve. I got to say I was concerned after playing Ty Lawson.

Lin is solid at defense but when I've watched him he doesn't come off as a defensive powerhouse like Bledsoe. I was a huge fan of "Linsanity" last year and love his off the court personality and attitude as well. So I'm not talking trash or hating.

I didn't watch Clippers vs Grizzlies game yesterday. But from the box score, it seems Grizzlies' both PGs, Conley and Bayless did pretty bad. Conley: 30 mins 2-11, 1 asst, 5 ps, 3 TOs. Is it because of Bledsoe's defense or more to do with Conley just having an off shooting night?

In H2H possessions in the playoffs Eric Bledsoe held Conley and Mayo combined to under 30 percent shooting and forced a TON of turnovers. So it had a ton to do with Bledsoe.

Blesdoe's primary role is probably to be a defensive stopper. He gets to use most his energy on the defensive end and any leftover energy for offense is just an added bonus.

If you're curious about Bledsoe watch this clip. He had 22 points, 11 assists and 10 steals against the Lakers and demolished Steve Nash who's a brilliant ball handler/passer. He only got credited for 9 steals but it was 10.

Haha.... sorry. I have an Asik and Harden scare show going on for me. Asik is the exact kind of center who destroys DJ. He's a beast on the boards and defensively and is crafty on offense. Harden is going to explode on Green/Crawford bad. I'm expecting 40 points from Harden TBH.

Here's part 2. Also Bledsoe had 5 rebounds, 2 blocks in that 22 point, 11 assist, 10 steal game. I can't edit this into a post? I tried to edit posts but don't see an option.

Eric Bledsoe is the best defensive point guard in the league.

The point guards who have the misfortune of facing him would rather face the masked killer Jason with a big long knife.

While giving up 50 to Harden lol. He tries hard on D usually but Harden is just too strong, smart and quick. I think Harden will likely get 20 free throws tonight due to the poor defenders we have at SG. If Vinny is smart he will put Matt Barnes and Grant Hill on Harden all night long and see if they can give him more trouble.

You are accurate on Asik's defense, but I would not say Asik is crafty on offense. He's getting better but still has stone hands . Harden is always reliable when it comes to scoring. But I was just wondering if Bledsoe would be put to guard Harden instead of Lin. When pressured, Harden could also have high TOs and be held to low percentage shooting :( Hope that's not the case tonight. Man, I'm really starting to hate that Bledsoe guy.

The 6'1" Bledsoe is blocking 1.5 shots per 40 minutes!

He's an incredible shot blocker for his size in addition to all the steals and rebounds he gets.

This guy meets frontcourt players at the rim and blocks their shots.

Bledsoe successfully guarded Manu in the playoffs who has a similar game BUT Harden is far more athletic and powerful than Manu so I think he would torch Bledsoe. I'm not trying to overhype Bledsoe, just his defense and rebounding. His offense is still flawed for sure. He has games where he will brick 5 open shots in a row. He's also hit and miss with his control offensively. It's not rare for him to lose control and get turnovers or charges. He's learning from CP3+Billups though so he should be alright.

Asik doesn't have the best offense but he seems to me like a high IQ player and to beat up DeAndre all you need to do is throw a fake in there and he jumps over your back. I wanted the Clippers to pursue Asik hard last summer before you guys got him and was bummed we lost out. He's just a fantastic defensive anchor and underrated as hell. I love his toughness too. It seems like the new wave of Euro center like Asik, Pekovic and Vujevic are way more physical and love to battle in the post, compared to the softer Euro guys from before.

In general I gotta say I love the Rockets team. I actually wanted the Clippers to try a Bledsoe trade package for Parsons, although Parsons is worth a bit more right now. I think the Rockets are everybody's second favorite team kinda like my 10-11 Clips were for a lot of people. Just very exciting, energetic, hard working and fun team you guys got going on.

Parsons, Lin, Harden, Asik is a hell of a future. All of these guys are high upside, young players with a lot of room for growth. I'm happy for you guys that you finally got your superstar in Harden. Rockets fans are among the best in the NBA and deserve it.
