    Yes, overreaction from the loss.

Andre Johnson will get you a 3rd round pick at best. This is stupid.

    STOP WITH THESE DUMB THREADS!

Matt Schaub, Gary Kubiak and Andre Johnson are not going anywhere.

enough with this nonsense.. the defense kept getting brady off the field when the game was still very close, and schaub did absolutely nothing but give the ball right back. the first 13 points the texans scored in spite of schaub, he didnt have a single fingerprint on those points and it was a 17-13 game.. they came out at half and put up a TD then schaub goes into fumblin fool, scared goofy slouch running around, throwing the ball away under no pressure, tossing a pick.. the game was over at that point when he tossed the pick. its tough to keep brady from scoring when the offense cant stay on the field.. all the meaningless yards schaub put up after the game was over mean nothing.. the defense will be fine when cushing gets back and they probably draft defense high again.. since we pretty much need a shut down dominant defense to keep schaub effective..

It took Tom Brady roughly 3 minutes on each scoring drive to go down the field. They averaged 7 yards a play. The longest scoring drive they had was for 3:51 seconds. Their shortest drive was a one play, 6 second, 34 yd td pass to Vereen. They did whatever they wanted to our defense. They had 3 players with over 80yds receiving, Welker had 131 by himself. Their ground game had 120 yards rushing. They ran it and threw it all over us. They scored 5 touchdowns. The only aspect of the game we performed better in was Special Teams.

I get that your butt hurt over the game but come on man. The defense was bad to start the second half and ended up allowing 42 points. You won't win many games giving up that much. I'm not telling you Schaub is great. He's not, but our defenses couldn't cover a baby with a blanket.

It seems this defense makes hay against turds but gets exposed badly against elite offensive teams. Chicken-and-egg O vs D argument aside, repeatedly getting abused after big-yardage plays by the same damn trick is inexcusable and points both to coaching and on-field leadership.

It's also typical for Wade's defenses: huge, eye-popping turnaround the first year, elite the second year, then slowly declining. Hope they turn it around next year. Oh, and for the love of God Wade, please learn to make a damn in-game adjustment. Dude has *zero* alternatives when his Plan A doesn't work. So easy for a good team to beat, and by "beat" I mean "beat like a drum".

The Cardinals owe it to Larry Fitzgerald to find a new team if that's what the guy wants.

Worst case the Texans are a top 10 team going into next year and that's being pretty pessimistic.

Plus lets not forget Andre did hold out a few years ago which many on this board felt it was unnecessary considering he got a new deal just a few years prior.

I'm sure losing gets to him but if it was his #1 priority he would have stayed pat and the Texans could have used that money else where.

AJ signed the deal knowing full well Schaub is the QB. He's being compensated handsomely. This isn't someone dealing with oppression who needs freedom.

That was my biggest concern in his hiring. He'll make us all feel like he's a f***ing hero (which has happened)...only to have things get progressively worse from there (which appears to be happening).

Wait a minute guys -- this idea might have merit, actually.

    Look at it this way:

Andre Johnson is set to make $6.2M in salary next season.

    JJ Watt will make $1.4M

If you take the time to do the math, we could get over 4 more JJ Watts if we trade Andre Johnson for full value.

wouldn't you rather have 4 more JJ Watts (for a total of FIVE JJ Watts) instead of one Andre Johnson?

Unlike the coach, i know Schaub is not going to magically get better. He is what he is. A backup QB.

It's been awhile since I've come across a classic Badlee thread, but I must admit, I kinda missed em'.

But enough nostalgia, on to how you want to trade the only worthwhile mainstay we've ever had here in Houston. The only guy who by most accounts could go down as a complete folklore legend without a single superbowl ring. And you want to trade him? What's the rationale behind that? We're not going to get a lot for him, yet you just want to let him go?

    Cris Carter voice: C'MON MAN!!!!

I always tell myself your threads are too stupid to even respond to, yet I always respond....when will I learn....

You don't ever trade Andre Johnson unless he is wanting a trade. And even then, you do all you can to keep him. What a horrible, horrible idea. For shame, CB, for shame.

I agree, we are going to be like the San Diego Chargers of the early 2000's. Real good in Regular season but choke it up in thee playoffs. So I will still root for the Texans, but they are who they are Battle fighters.

I pray to God that you're not a real coach. Also, I wonder what your average rating is on threads? It's gotta be like 1.2. Lol.
