I agree. I'll take a rookie like Doug Martin also. And Alfred Morris

    Oh okay. That sounds simple.

Rick Smith picks up the phone. Calls Carolina's new GM Dave Gettleman.

Rick: Hey Dave, congrats on being GM. Let's make some moves.
Dave: Sure, what do you have in mind?
Rick: Can you trade me Cam?
    Dave: *Click*

If Geno Smith is there at 27 take him no doubt let him learn but man do I want a nasty athletic RT with strength so bad so tempting.

I'd have to go with a RT in the 1st would be sick if we traded up for one of the dude out of aTm.

Even if Schaub was twice the QB he is, gets still need to think about QB I the future. Schaubs not going to be Brett Favre of longevity anyway. He's due another serious injury in the next couple years. And he has to have everything g set up right for him to win. I'm not a big running QB guy but Schaub is SO far the opposite it severely limits the offense. Your QB is NO threat moving/outside the pocket. Maybe Texans mgmt doesn't realize that in the playoffs you consistently play good defenses that require a QB to at least be able to manage the pocket? Pick up blitzes. Not only slip the defender but then be able to make throws.

Defense was t exactly good but Texans had so many chances especially in first half offensively to change the tone of the game but couldn't.

They're ****ed with that ridiculous contract. It's their own stupidity.

I'd take Alex Smith but unless you get him real cheap you're screwed for a cap perspective. Hard to see anyone trading for Schaub.

I think they have to go QB early in the draft. The problem is I have no faith in our brain trust when it comes to QB evaluation.

To go forward, there's really only two types of choices.

    Exceptional passers or triple threats.

The Rodgers and Brady's of the world can't run to save their lives but they don't have to, Luck is like this too.

Then there's the guys who are decent passers, but can run like a receiver, the Vick's of the world, Kaep, RG3 and Wilson.

Rodgers is terrific on the run. So is Luck. Although I expect Luck will slow down eventually.

Cushing could probably run faster than Schaub with his torn acl.

Yeah. You can't just cut Schaub. He still gives the team the best chance to win today. Unless something
most likely unrealistic falls into the Texans lap. That said, it's time to take a serious look into the future.

He can throw while running sure, but he runs about as fast as his linesmen.

If you are referring to Aaron Rodgers, Something tells me you don't watch much football outside of the Texans.
