how long do expect a defense to hold a prolific offense? especially when texans offense is constantly getting 3 and outs, special teams kicking the ball terribly. that first half the d was good. 2nd half i thought they were good enough.
I hear what you're saying.... but I clearly saw less pressure up front, more drop back zone-ish/prevent coverage, and a less intensity from NE. I always felt the key to this game was our running game. It opens up everything. We no longer have the 2-headed back, and our line hasn't really opened up consistent holes all season. Aside from a few brief spurts (week 2 against Jacksonville, second half drive at home against Indy), our running game was average this year.
Certainly regressed this year.... didn't improve throughout the season as expected, and was downright unpredictable towards the end of the season.
Wah, Wah, WAH!!! This whining is getting tiresome. You are stuck with Kubiak because clueless Bob rewarded his mediocrity. But even though Kubiak will back for another go round, which team would you folks rather have: the Texans or the Dallas aka Oakland Cowboys? I'll say this for Bob McNair: at least he isn't channeling Al Davis right now.
