Saw the fight on ESPNU. Fight took place in the stands while the team was watching another game. <object width="640" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/AWdQPT-H0Qc?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0&hd=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/AWdQPT-H0Qc?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0&hd=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="505"></embed></object> Renardo Sidney is a beast, but also has terrible behavior/attitude. He was suspended all of last year for receiving money. Played in 2 games this year so far. The NBA will never touch that guy. What an idiot.
Sidney beat dat ass. All-world potential but dumber than a bag of hammers... he just cost himself a potential career in the NBA and millions of dollars. No GM is going to take a risk on a classless thug with a tendency to scrap with his own teammates.
I played against this guy and James Harden (Artesia), in CIF when they won state. Harden was wet, but Sidney had the most talent on the floor. Can Shane and Luis bring him back to life?
Sidney is crazy talented, but he's crazy in the head. He would be a good candidate for an ESPN 30 for 30 episode. His is a very interesting story that I don't think will end well.
Do you know if there is an article that is an interesting read on him? All I know is he took money and was suspended all year.
Sidney probably has played his last college basketball game. Ironically, MSU coach Rick Stansbury had said in an interview that he was close to cutting Sidney from the program before the season, but he wanted to be the first coach to get through to him. Looks like he won't succeed in that.
Seen him play in high school, looked like Zach Randolph. Sad that he can't even make the d-league now, assuming that's what he wants to do. Signed with D-league team LA Defenders, got released 5 days later without playing in a game.
