Is that a countdown to the end of the world or a basketball game?

Beverley looked good yesterday, but I'd like to see him go up strong to the hoop when driving into the lane. Yesterday he would drive into the lane and then pass the ball out. He is small, but I've seen other small players that can draw fouls and make layups. Beverley is smooth and quick, and he does seem to see the court well and pass the ball well. I hope he can keep knocking down the three.

Sioux Falls arena is pretty packed for a DLeague game. I remember reading that they are one of the few profitable DLeague teams.

    Thanks, daywalker02.

I think Beverley going 5-17 from the field and 2-9 from three though sort of takes the shine off his game tonight. I didn't get to watch because of the Rockets game, but I'd like to see him play.

As for Jones, I'm shocked that he's here right now. Just before the Harden trade I thought he was a lock for the rotation... but it seems he doesn't have a niche in the NBA right now. Big, can run, can get up, can shoot some, does a little bit of everything... but I don't know if he's excelling at anything. He has had some big rebound games there though.

    You are welcome.
I missed 3 quarters of the game and it was all tied at the end.
I thought it was one of the games with the great first quarter (32pt)
and the average rest when the opponent gradually came back into the game.
Both teams were shooting 43%, and they had the advantage at rebounding but I think overall going to the line and FT shooting were saving the team 76% vs their 68%

Glad you like it. Of course, we need to go out and find that info and post it here, but hopefully this allows for more discussion on the team.

Some highlights from the game... nice Terrence Jones spin and score in the lane (0:44 mark) and fast break dunk (0:50 mark).

With our PFs current level of play, you'd think he'd be able to get some serious minutes if only to see what he can do. He may not have a well defined role but we could use some fresh legs at PF if nothing else.

Jones doesn't look ready yet. He makes some good plays every game, but he seems a little timid to me. He seems unsure of what he wants to do. He's been shooting the three ball when he's open with mixed results and his post game is not very developed, but you can tell he has a lot of natural talent. He just needs to figure out what he can and cannot do. He's still so young.

He can chuck up all the 3s he wants down there as far as I'm concerned. ;) Would be great if he can add that to his game. I'm sure they really want him to work on his jumper.
