If the texans win, I'm almost tempted to skip the ravens and save for Super Bowl tickets.

    Cart put back behind horse.

I just hope we don't get Dierdorf for the AFC championship game in Houston. Can you imagine how he will be gushing over Lewis?

Nantz and Simms are the #1 team for CBS. They'd likely call the game.

I love that people think we have more of a chance based on another team's win...

Never underestimate the mental boost. It works for fans and players knowing that if they beat N.E., they will be playing for a trip to the big show in front of their own fans instead of on the road..

I will admit I am somewhat heartened because even though I don't like the Ravens or the 49'ers it is good to see that defensive oriented teams doing well against high octane offenses. Of course we will have to see if the Texans can muster some big plays like the Ravens and Niners have.

John Fox coached like Kubiak and that's why they lost. The harbaugh brothers have balls. Just now the miners went for it at the 20 on 4th up 14 instead of kicking the field goal. Got an encroachment penalty and now they are going for the kill.

Kubiak is a p***y and you don't win games that way.

No, they were going to kick it. They had no intentions of running a play.

but they got the penalty and it was worth a shot. The fact that the harbaughs have reputations for taking chances made that penalty happen. Instead of up 17 they are up 21 with 2 minutes less on the clock. Either way the game would be over but this is just an example of the difference between the two coaches, and I doubt anyone is going to say kubiak is better than them.

Texans have to play loose tomorrow. They've got nothing to lose since no one is picking them to win it. Use the playbook. Think "7" in the red zone and not "at least 3." It couldn't hurt...

All they would have done was taken a time out or take the penalty. It was a chip shot field goal. I think you're confusing ballsy with strategy. Sure, the Harbuaghs might be aggressive, but Green Bay needed to be smarter than that.

Obviously, I understand. I don't think in the NFL, that you should need that kind of motivation, but no doubt it is added motivation. It also goes to show the Patriots the old add age of any given Sunday. No doubt it'll make us play harder, but if you don't think it gives the Patriots a boost, then I can't help you, either.

I was just saying...people act like were going to win just because Baltimore beat Denver. I'd say any motivation gained by this game is even, or may even swing in the Patriot's favor
