lol Lin didn't lose them the game, the entire team was in a shooting fun. No energy, no plays. Just everything didn't go right. Ran out of gas, and the energy level of the Hornets shot right up. Ugly game from the beginning.
This thread should have been removed for a long time, since by now the more mature fans already had a chance to scrutinize Lin from all angles.
it would be utterly shameless and downright embarrassing if Jeremy Lin is an all star this year. He is not deserving and he should refuse the invite.
OK, Lin hasn't been shooting the ball so great, but he's also had 11 assists, 6 steals, and just 1 turnover over his last 2 games. Not bad.
pretty good but with the offense lately everyone wishes he could just get back to his 20+ ppg scoring days
True. But lin's shooting deficiencies absolutely kills our offensive spacing. This is making life tough for harden, as many times lin's man is sagging off and doubling harden knowing that lin is not a shooting threat. Aside from that the drop off play the rockets run, the play where lin hands the ball to the 4 man then receives it back after a sharp cut creating space, is not very effective because instead of attacking his defender or shooting the ball lin is pump faking and getting stuck with no dribble. Right now in our starting lineup we don't have a consistent shooter and when teams force us to play slow we are absolutely getting killed. I've also been thinking about management's decision to sign lin. I wonder if we sign him if we knew we were getting harden.
That's actually a good question though. Lin even at his best is not a 3pt threat which is what they probably need from the point.
they do but usually more so if they make consistent clutch D plays like the Chuckwaggon used to do Plays that win game
Uh that was tough to read sorry. What i was wondering is if Daryl knew of the harden deal before signing lin would have he offered lin that contract or instead opted to sign another guard. I knew we didn't sign dragic b/c of the player option but i'm sure gogi would have been easier to sign if he knew he would be playing with harden.
See my sig. He can, if he is the #1 option of his team like in his 20+ ppg scoring days. You can't magically score 20+ playing next to a guy the entire coaching staff has predesignated the #1 option. Even Harden only scored 16.8 last season on the Thunder. Lin is not that far from what Harden would score in his role.
why rocket no player jeremy lin? Why houston rocket make lin pass ball and say ok for douglas to shooot ball? They have agenda against Lin and should be ashamed. Houston rocket no deserve lin. He need be traded.
lin doesnt know what to do when he gets in the paint. too often, he get all the way to the paint and tries to lay it up. needs a floater. also, doesnt help when refs dont give him the calls. last yr with ny, he took the hit and got to the line. he barely gets to the ft line, except in a few gms like vs SA.
I have been saying for two months now that for both the sakes of both Jeremy and the rockets that he should be traded. Should have realized that resigning with the team that 7 months earlier let you go for nothing was not a good idea... They did waive you for a reason afterall.
