Hoping and Wishing that Lin will be as productive as holiday .... consistently.

 

Not sure how this works. BUt I do know that when Lin was in throughout the 1st quarter, the Rockets led as much as 11. When Lin was taken out with 4 minutes left in the 1st quarter, the 76ers came back and took the lead. The Rockets never recovered. Maybe that has something to do w/ the +/-. Lin controls the offense, but after he was out, 76ers come back and the Rockets never could come back?

 

Harden doesn't want picks. He prefers to go ISO and is good at it.

Don't know why none for Lin though.

 

Man, this board becomes unbearable after a loss. Clutchfans implosion.

This is the correct answer. That said I did see a few screens set for Harden but the entire Philly team collapsed into the paint w/ arms up - Harden didn't have a pass or a shot a lot of the times (not to mention getting fouled w/o it being called).

 

Before this becomes a Lin flame war I just want to put this out there.

Don't just read the boxscore and come to the conclusion that we lost because Lin went 2-13. That's inexcusable BUT we lost because after we got close in the 4th, we had THREE consecutive possessions that led to turnovers and THEN we had one position when we went 0-5 from 3, most of them WIDE open!

So please don't pin this on Lin, we lost as a TEAM . End of story.

I knew Jan would be ugly, but let's hope things get better.

I'm gonna watch football now. bye.

Sixers played excellent D. They really wanted this win after all those losses. Holiday with the exclamation game, reminding Lin of what it was like in NYK, when good screens existed, and everything ran through him.

Houston is road wary. I don’t think their pace can be sustained in the long term, especially on the road, without better defense, screens, and plays. In this game,
PGs = fail
PFs = MIA (again)
D = fail

Play of the game/week/month = Harden between the legs, and1, tech foul.
Clippers game is going to be very interesting.

 

Oh yea. No risk passes. It's like a QB having to throw it 30 yards. Air it out man!

 

Also also no screens that's why.

 

Sad stat is that Smith only played 4 mins...

Once Lin gets a better teardrop ala tony Parker he is going to be a hell of a player. Better outside shooting will come too.
Harden already a monster. A lot of wrist slashing on this board but I doubt there are more than a 5 NBA teams who wouldn't trade their roster/cap space with ours.

 

Smith seriously not getting burn when others cannot rebound?? Someinthing's up

 

How can he be as productive as Jrue when his usage isn't near his, doesn't get to take 15-20 shots per game, and has no screens set or plays called for him? Lin doesn't even really play as a PG on this team as it is right now.

Harden = Jrue on this team.
