More importantly, you can now see Inara (Morena Baccarin) topless several times in the Showtime series Homeland.
I agree...she was hot then and hot now in Homeland... This series should have gone about 3-4 seasons.
WARNING:Zombie bump Just saw the series for the first time. Couldn't stop watching. Finished it recently. So. GOOD. Prob my fav tv show of all time. (I give the nod to this over BB because I like humor + drama) Nathan Fillion has charm falling outta his ass. Speaking of ass. Morena is gorgeous and a damn good actress too. Sorry for the zombie bump. #nowaitimnot
One of those series that should have lasted for years, yet cancelled after one season. I love it, although I'm not a huge fan of the flick.
Joss Whedon has to have enough pull in Hollywood by now to do another Serenity. I don't see how Universal could say No at this point. They'd make their money back just by putting "FROM THE DIRECTOR OF THE AVENGERS" all over the trailers and commercials. Of course this is just the desperate rationalization of a longtime Browncoat
why would he do another firefly movie? why would he do anymore firefly tv shows? He summed up pretty much every storyline there was in the movie.
I just re-watched Serenity this week and have been hoping for a new series. They could even go from the perspective of the Alliance and I'd be happy. (I probably say that, because the Agent is one of my favorite villains of all time.)
Well, he's talked about wanting to do a sequel. This was years ago, but he obviously had a story in mind. Also, on the Sci Fi special a few months ago some of the old writers brought up storylines they wanted to explore.
I havent watched Serenity yet (waiting on the blu-ray to come in the mail soon) But I've heard it was written off as a "conclusion." So I'd rather they just pretend that movie never happened or make it stand alone and continue on from where they left it. Seriously. This show was/is SOOOOOOO Goood...
https://filmschoolrejects.com/movie-news-feb-9-17-a4c406877b13 FOX Messes with Our Emotions By Teasing A ‘Firefly’ Reboot I hesitated to report this because I didn’t want to be just another purveyor of false hope, but this is the closest we’ve ever come to getting Joss Whedon’s Firefly — one of the most unjustly cancelled series of all time — back on television, and in case this crap shoot pays off I want you in the know. So here we go: While speaking with Rotten Tomatoes recently at the Television Critics Association’s press tour, FOX Broadcasting President of Entertainment David Madden said he was totally open to giving a Firefly reboot the greenlight, acknowledging the fan base is there and the cast is likely willing to reprise their roles (except for Ron Glass, “Shepherd Book,” who recently passed away), but offering one pretty big condition: no Whedon, no Firefly. This, of course, makes perfect sense. A reboot would naturally want to recapture the charm and allure of the earlier series, and that charm and allure is all a product of Whedon’s writing. But since Firefly’s cancellation, you might have heard that Whedon’s become kind of a big deal in Hollywood, which makes some folks think he’s going to be perennially too busy to tackle the project. At present, however, Whedon only has one film slated in his schedule as a writer-director, the Untitled Joss Whedon WWII/Horror Project, and that has no release date attached, so it’s not like he’s booked for years into the future. Stay faithful, then, browncoats, Serenity might just live to fly another day.
