I honestly have a difficult time believing this story. One, because the show would suck, and two, enough already with the damn Star Wars.
It could work. But only if it relies on the Star Wars Extended Universe. Don't even mention any characters from the films, and please god don't bring those characters on the shows for cameos. Would be gimmicky and people would only tune in to see Vader, Yoda, etc. If they went the route of making the story personal and grounded (not literally heh), I could see it working.
Disney has the franchise now so I'm interested in Star Wars again. Let the previous poster, this needs to be done with characters that have not been in the previous Star Wars films. Could work if they keep it like Star Trek.
It worked the first time. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Mz550T3QeAo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Put it on HBO, let the cohen brothers produce it, let Tarantino write the scripts and Tim burton direct and I'm in.
NO. I don't want a gritty, overly violent Star Wars reboot where Tim Burton continues his love affair with casting Johnny Depp as an overly feminine, ambiguous hero. Please no.
