I just turned 34 and am still single, and it is because basically I'm a selfish b*stard. I'm not saying I'll never get married, but she'd have to be a pretty great chick for me to pull the trigger. I also don't really date, I freaking hate the work. Having to talk to them daily, and check in with them and give a damn what they want? Meh, no thanks. Three chicks are currently texting me regularly, and even that makes me want to throw my phone.

I look forward to seeing your new bride. It will have been 35 years for me and my Significant Other this coming February. Yes, 35 years. I wish you two the best. Our lives didn't change that much until we had kids, which we did very late, since we were having such a freakin' good time and seriously considered not having any at all. Don't wait until you're in your 40's to have kids, Lil Pun, if you're planning on it, but give yourselves a few years to simply enjoy each other. That's something you won't regret.

Thanks for the tips, I appreciate any advice I get. Too late on the kids as we already have one and..... . There are definitely some things I would have liked to do before but I wouldn't trade anything now for those things.

 

I am not ready for marriage. I am 28 & single. I hope to be married one day but I will need to really believe the marriage would last until death. It does get harder staying single, especially being a lady people expect u to be in a relationship or married. I have finally come to realize I am happier without that right now and I dont have to rush just to do whats 'expected' when its not even whats best for me right now.
