Hornets and Celtics combined are like on a 9 game win streak.

We met both teams at their place.

I think we ran into some hot teams on the road, also our 3s are not falling.

Need a W against the 6ers now though.

Never said it was Lin's fault the team was playing bad. Just that the coach decided to stick with the lineup that got them back in the game. If we hadn't been making a comeback then I would be right there with you questioning why Lin wasn't back in the game, but in a game like this when almost nothing was working I don't see how you can blame the coach for sticking with what closed the gap.

Yeah, because Douglas was the catalyst for that run.

Isn't this what we expected coming into the season? A big man that is a defensive specialist with little to no offense

Seems like the pass 2 games Asik needs help rebounding when teams crash the board. IMO it shows that the team needs a better rebounding and defensive pf. One that can finish and play pnr would be nice too :D.

You're right bud. Lin is not a star, he's a 'your user id'.

Stop the war about Lin. Can we have at least one night without going through the LOH/LOF war after a game loss?

I only saw the 4th quarter. Harden was forcing his shots mostly because no other rockets are trying to make themselves open! In this way, Harden will have TOs or bad pass (that does not necessarily lead to TOs) especially since Celtic played very good defense in-the-paint. There is a lack of coordination between TD and Harden. I really hope Harden and the team could develop some mid-range game or some play with the other PG (regardless of whether it is Lin or TD) since he is now just too predictable! He showed other type of plays so he is definitely capable of those. Why can they easily trap him without giving up open shots?

agree 100%...they cant be much worse than pat and morris...your pg should NEVER outboard your 4s...im not saying they should start...but at least let them play more than 2 minutes of garbage time!

Lin was a star... Until this coaching staff has reduced him to a role player.

Well if there is something positive I see tonight even with a loss is the coaching staffs effort on DMo. They get demo and Andersen in with the starting PG in the court. They have a controlled garbage time and I a glimpse of DMo doing well on a non-chaotic sequence.

Lin had good minutes, but he is one of the star on this team. If he's a role player then would you call Rondo a role player as well...last checked Lin had almost the same stat across...2 few assists and 4 less TOs. Poor shooting from the "true" role players and Asik's almost "perfect" FT caused us the game.

You might want to actually look at the actual play by plays. TD had 2 points and 1 assist in that time, AND he fouled a Boston Pierce for FT's.

Boston missing shots (Greg Smith picked up those rebounds) combined with a Harden steal, a Boston bad pass to out of bounds and Delfino making a 3 pointer and drawing a foul was what got us in the game. You're giving WAY too much credit to TD in the 4th quarter.

Rewind and re watch that 4th quarter. TD really wasn't doing all that much.

imo the fundamental flaw for this team is SIZE AND ATHLETICISM at the 4. asik is but one man. and smith is very green. we need a post presence on offense and a shot blocker on defense. this shoot only 3s and layups offense is stupid easy to defend. on a bad shooting night you have almost no hope of a gritty win... to be honest it was only a matter of time before the offense fell back down to earth and the crappy d kill them off

Hopefully Lin can be a consistent solid starter.

Yes it's not Lin's fault that we lost but stop harping on the 6TOs, that's not why we lost the game too. We had 14 TOs in total and we've won games with way higher TOs. Would you be saying the same thing if Lin was the one with the high TOs? You're doing it because he has zero turnovers today.
