I saw this thing. The nvidia guy swears the graphics are real. I was impressed. Also liked the cloud gaming. Had skyrim running on a MacBook with full graphics maxed out. No lag. None of that game was rendered on the MacBook

That's really cool. It would mean I wouldn't have to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars every few years to upgrade or get a new computer to run the latest game.
An insanely bizarre punctuation to what is perhaps the lamest/most boring CES I've seen in recent years.
Where are you guys gonna watch the Texans game. I am going to probably watch it with my business partner but haven't figured out where. Shoot me an email through the board if you guys are still around that way we could possibly meet up and I would have some Texan fans around me.
http://phandroid.com/2013/01/08/hands-on-nvidia-grid-cloud-gaming-at-ces-2013-video/ A few nights ago Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang talked a little bit on their cloud gaming “Grid,” powerful stacks of Nvidia GPU’s cranking out games for streaming on multiple devices. No longer will consumers have to worry about spending thousands of dollars for a high-end gaming rigs just to support their gaming addictions. Smartphones, televisions, anything and everything is fair game. Essentially, as long as you have an internet connection, you can play mega blockbusters like Black Ops 2 on full graphical settings, settings that would melt your current PC or handheld. Revolutionary? Sure sounds like it.
To me this sounds like the one thing from this year's CES that will have the most impact on me. Sure maybe later I'll get a 4K television, but what I have now works, and I hope that it works for at least a few more years. Being able to always run new release games on highest graphical settings will help me buy and play more games than I would have before. I think it's a win for everyone, because game manufacturers can sell a lot more product that way too.
I think the 4K TVs will be most awesome when paired with the new 3D w/no glasses technology. One of the downsides currently with the 3D from different angles technology is the obvious lowering of resolution. When 4K TVs you could still have HD 3D.
I recently saw this video and am wondering what other people think of this product.
